Opposite Experience of Current VRBO Ads
Since current VRBO ads are emphasizing :Privacy of host free staysSpace feeling like truly yoursNo host presence to take away from experienceNo unwelcome interruption from hostsStress free with privacy from hostThis experience was the opposite of the ads emphasis. This host was VERY INTRUSIVE with showing up as we checked in and checked out and multiple messages via VRBO while we were there. During our stay we spent one night at my daughter’s house because of messages.Location of VRBO was nice, information left out of ad that may be helpful for many people is the distance from parking spot to the vrbo along side of building on tile without adequate lighting. As a 70 year old I would not stay there again for that very reason. It was raining during much of our stay and I did not feel secure walking on the wet tile in the dark.Unit was adequately stocked, refrigeration is dorm size and there is no oven hot plate only.Floors were not adequately cleaned so always kept socks or shoes on to keep feet from being grimy. A few lights needed repair or replacement.Best part of this unit is the location. I would not stay there again. Felt like we were being watched. Was told there is a camera to see guests arriving and departing, which is a concern to me.
