I really enjoyed my stay in this older, but maintained 2 bedroom. Owner was responsive and had nice touches like a set table and a bowl of lemons.
At first I was a little concerned about the neighborhood, but after staying 5 days I saw no problems of any kind. It seems mostly small families and people seem nice.
Roku took me a bit to get accustomed to, but it has all live channels and streaming services you could want (except CNN).
The beds are comfortable and the couch is just ok (it’s old). There are no dressers in either bedroom and only one closet has a rod to hang clothes, so you have to live out of your suitcase.
The kitchen has limited counter space for food prep and minimal appliances and cookware, but enough to get by. No dishwasher. (Probably normal for a unit this old). The kitchen is fully functional and has the necessities.
Street parking isn’t bad at all. I normally found a spot right in front. Only twice did I have to park in the back yard, but its slightly inconvenient because you have to unlock the gate, swing the two large gates all the way open, fold your side mirrors and drive along the side to the back yard. Then walk back up to close the gates. The gate is very high, so you need to be very tall to reach over, or go through the house and out the back bedroom to get to the gate from the rear. This is only a minor inconvenience.
All in all, I liked staying here. It’s 10-15 minutes to the beach and to Costco, and it’s a 3-minute walk to the Dollar store, which is perfect when staying at any VRBO for quick food and incidentals. I would recommend staying here.
