"This is the most charming boutique hotel. The location is excellent! The room was spacious enough however I do not care for automatic lights going on in the bathroom. I like to control the lights myself, and not be blinded. The big con is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry your suitcases up the classic narrow staircase. Nice breakfast. "Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...
