"Having planned a day of retail therapy in Lorca and Murcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away from decorating our home in Mojacar (98 wooden shutters to paint....***!). From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Steve and Deborah provided a welcoming drink followed by a delicious evening meal. We retired to a comfortable room and woke refreshed. Hotel Jardines de Amaltea

3.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (145)
"Quick check in. Luxurious hotel. Underground parking but we parked outside reception. Huge room. Very comfy bed and duvet. Huge bathroom. Big unit for suitcase. Separate desk and chair. Nice bath shower. Pretty artwork on wall. Big seating area near lift. Bit of road noise in room 101 which faced the road. Recommend requesting a room facing the back. Hotel has a nice looking pool but we didn't have time to try it. Would definitely stay here again."
