Great Stay - We’ll be Back!

One of the best short term rental homes on Lopez

Views can’t be beat. Kitchen is large, functional and thoughtfully stocked. Patios and deck truly noteworthy. Loved the whole home sound system.

We loved the house and the view. Everything was great for our stay. Lopez is such a nice and friendly place and a different vibe from the other ferry served islands. We will be back to Lopez and this is where we will stay.

Wonderful vacation

The home is beautiful. The owners have great attention to detail throughout the property. The kitchen is fully stocked like a home, not a vacation rental. The location and views made for a relaxing, serene vacation. We would definitely book the property again!

Absolutely Fabulous!

The thought and detail that went into this home is only surpassed by the views and location. What a great place to eacape to! The peace and calm is present in every corner. Being able to stay in and cook was a gift, the kitchen is stocked beautifully! Contrarulations on creating a very special place!.

Contemporary beauty indoors married with the grandeur of Lopez Island and the Salish Sea outdoors. Convenient to the ferry and to town. Comfortable, peaceful, beautiful, and well appointed. Claw foot indoors and hot tub outdoors. Heaven. All of it.

Hilltop Dream

Oh my goodness! This place was everything described and MORE! The home was perfectly appointed with every amenity possible-well stocked kitchen, sound system, heated floors, fire pit, HOT TUB, and a gorgeous view with amazing sunsets. Hope we get to travel back again next year!

I was nicly surprised with work and design youy guys put into this house. You that on everithing. Remote but, easy access, instruction, close to water, park, trail. Good vibe and peaceful. Open Kitchen with floor heating, music, internet access, Jacuzzi.... You have to see it to experience it. Thank you for sharing your home!

Gorgeous View and Sunsets

My husband and I were looking for a place to use as home base while we explored Lopez and other San Juan Islands. The house is up-to-date with incredible amenities. As others have mentioned, the kitchen is stocked with every pan and utensil you could want - the best we've seen in our years of staying in VRBO's. The view out the front of the house is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the ferries and other boats go by. We were also treated to several absolutely incredible sunsets! Easy access to the ferry terminal for visiting other islands as well.

Heaven at Haven

I spent 3 nights here with a group of friends. Surrounded by beauty both in the home and the breathtaking vistas! The house provided an incredibly well put together retreat for us. Everything..the kitchen, bedrooms, dining and living areas ..so well designed and accommodating . And to see a pair of Orcas from the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Haven on the Hill is a dream sanctuary vacation home. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home !

This place delivers amazing sunsets!

The details matter and this place thought of everything. It truly felt like a well organized and furnished family home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need and more. The views are stunning! The outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing. Close to ferry for walk on island hopping! It was a great stay. The water pressure could be better in showers but it’s a minor thing likely unavoidable in this beautiful island.

Property was fabulous. The view is so beautiful. However, being PNW coffee drinkers who appreciate their morning coffee time, there was only one Keirig coffee pod, no coffee pot (we brought our own coffee), and no filters for the Chemex coffee carafe. The hot tub was lovely with views of the ferry going by, particularly at night with the lights on, was so relaxing.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Everything here is top notch. The home is beautiful with impeccably decorated interiors, comfy beds, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Big windows all around let you enjoy the incredible view at all times (even from the master bedroom's shower!). The kitchen/dining area is large, fully equipped, modern, and can be opened up onto the upper deck with a folding glass door. Which brings us to the outside - Stunning! You can enjoy peace and quiet surrounded by nature all around and on several levels. From the upper deck with a gas firepit, to the large jacuzzi/patio level, down to the firepit by the water... it's all breathtaking while still managing to be comfortable also. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful modern home in the woods with ocean view

Waking up to see the trees through the master bedroom was at real treat. As soon as I got out of bed and looked down the hill, I could see the water and the occasional passing ferry. The kitchen is very well equipped.

Amazing property!

Hands down the best vacation property we have stayed at! The home is beautifully laid out and decorated, the kitchen has everything you need, and the outdoor spaces provide amazing setting for making memories! The views are amazing, even from the bedrooms! Eye masks might help you if you want to sleep in though! But don't take this review to heart, we are hoping the calendar doesn't fill up so we can come back!

We loved our stay at The Haven on Hilltop, located on the beautiful Island of Lopez in the San Juan’s. The location is super convenient at just 5 minutes off the ferry, yet private and feels very remote once you arrive. It’s located on the water with western views so you’ll enjoy gorgeous sunsets daily. The living space is super comfortable with lots of spacious windows that face the water, and a cozy but spacious vibe. There are so many amenities and nice touches from heated floors to a kitchen that opens up to a deck bar seating area and a fire pit that overlook the water. There is also outdoor heat lamps so you can enjoy colder temps in comfort! The large kitchen is a cooks dream, but they also provide contact info for all the nearby attractions and quaint restaurants, coffee shops and stores on the island. Sleeping accommodations are super comfy. Great beds and bedding. Super comfortable rooms. It’s the perfect place for a getaway for two, or bring a group of 6 and have a great group weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub this time around but plan to in the future. It sits on one of the three terraced sitting areas that overlook the water, surrounded by beautiful trees. This is a special place. A lot of love, care and good vibes went into its creation. Thanks to the owners Becca and Patrick for allowing us to be one of the first to make use Of your special vacation home. Can’t wait to come back maybe for a longer stay! You’ll love it. Book fast!
