"Sehr schönes Hotel in einer alten Teefabrik. Herausragend war die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Das Essen war herrvorragend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. "We loved our stay at this resort. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds."

"Theva Residency is a nice hotel. Our room was good, comfortable and clean with a decent shower. We had a room with a terrace and lovely view of the hills around Kandy. Nice pool with good views. Breakfast was very good. The location is very scenic but nothing walkable that we found, although it's only a ten minute or so tuktuk ride down to the city which the hotel arranged. Definitely recommend a tuktuk tour of the temples and a visit to the Botanic Gardens is a must as they are huge, beautiful...
