Beautiful location and property
We loved our stay here. Being south Louisiana folks we weren't used to the winding roads so we stayed in after dark and enjoyed the wonderful fire pit and the deck. The property had everything we needed and then some. Warm blankets to keep warm outside! Extra towels! :) Downstairs bathroom tub/shower wasn't ideal because I couldn't stop up the tub for a bath, and standing in the shower was very slippery. My husband would come out of the shower and laughingly say "I survived another trip to the shower". LOL Maybe some kind of mat would help. We loved everything about the place. Thank you for sharing it!

The view was incredible every evening, they need to update the picture of the property, very clean
I’ve never had to take sheets off the beds, at any place we’ve ever rented to stay, never been asked to start a load of sheets and towels, I couldn’t figure out the washer, mines a older Maytag, the pictures need to be updated. There isn’t a blue sectional in the garage where the game tables are, but is seating, the house was very clean inside! Needs sprayed out on the deck for spiders. No matter what which window on the back side you looked out of was so beautiful, well equipped with every thing you need except the gas grill want cut on it’s rusted closed on the tank it’s self, so we had to cook inside, but it worked out ok. There was a peacock out front the last morning, Was beautiful, we had a great trip over all. Enjoyed the games there, didn’t use the sana but wanted to, it was writhing 25 minutes to every thing we done, the aquarium, lake Winnie, the incline, zoo, creative discovery museum of arts, the hunters museum and mansion, Hennings was a great place to eat. They accommodated extra towels we asked for because all of us girls had long hair, my husband, son, his wife, there 4 kids ( our grand kids) and my self had a wonderful time, the walk to the bottom of the hill was worth all the steps to walk. Loved the deck. And location. Thank yall

Great house in a great location. Wonderful views from the huge deck. Enjoyed grilling and eating outside. Space was as advertised. Grandkids adored the game room! ! Most of the liighting was out in game room and even though we reported it the 1st night, none of the 10 fluorescent bulbs got replaced during our 4 day stay. Also, the air conditioning on the second floor was out on the evening that we arrived. It got fixed by 9 PM that night, but went out again our last night. Other than these 2 issues, we loved the house.

Nice place
We had a great time. There were a few minor issues with the wood burning stove, a battery for a smoke detector, but management did communicate well with us despite the changes going on at their office. One note, it would be nice to add a door for the master bath. I was staying with a friend, not my spouse and it was a bit awkward. Overall we enjoyed the property and decided to rebook.

Great location, a few little flaws
This location is fantastic! Away from the hustle of the city but close enough to get to all the great local attractions. Beautiful views!! The kids loved the game room in the garage and enjoyed the size of the property. The property was nicely decorated and comfortable. A few little quirks about the location... - you cant open the stove the whole way as the fridge blocks it. This is a safety issue. -the downstairs shower did not drain well. When i contacted management they advised me that i could buy some draino. - the upstairs shower had a mold/mildew that flaked off in black bits when using the shower (which we used for everyone since ghe downstairs shower drained so slowly). - when i communicated these issues with management when we left, management argued with me. I was not looking for anything except to communicate the issues so that they could be resolved for future guests. We had a great vacation here and none of the little issues mentioned above detered our great time in the Chattanooga area. Note: I believe that the management company has changed since we stayed here in March 2024.

Wonderful mountain getaway
This was a great place for relaxing with a view, while being close to the sites we wanted to visit. Outdoor patio / deck was perfect to have dinner. Also enjoyed one of the many books they had available while relaxing on the comfortable chairs on the deck. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again!

New Years Eve
Overall impression is great. We loved the property. Could not make the outside lights on the front and back porch work. Maybe needed light bulbs - we didn't check. The only reason I mention it is because the porch has a step down that is hard to see in the dark. We didn't have any problems...but could be for others. Loved the breakfast food. That was a great touch. Beautiful home and property. What a view!

Oh, what a view!
Hang Glider's Nest is perfection. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a good location for all that we did on Lookout Mtn and for our jaunts into Chattanooga. The host had breakfast provisions in the fridge for us, which I thought was very thoughtful and convenient since we arrived Christmas day and there were no stores open. The best part about this house is the view. It is breathtaking, in the morning as the sun comes up warming the mountains or at night when all the twinkling lights come out and all hours in between. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
