Quiet 3 Acres On DNR Fishing Lake With 200' Of Shoreline Just Outside Longville

Quiet 3 acres on DNR fishing lake with 200' of shoreline with dock just outside Longville. Large open lawn as well as wooded area. Cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and appliances, concrete patio. Better for 2 but there is a hide-a-bed so it can sleep up to 4. Good fishing lake for Panfish, Northern, and Large Mouth Bass with many other fishing and recreational lakes nearby, including Woman Lake about 2 miles away and Leech Lake about 10 miles away. Canoe and paddle boat included along with life jackets and paddles. Northern Lights Casino in Walker is about a 20 minute drive. Firewood and charcoal supplied. Cleaning and taxes are included in the price. Pets are ok but we do add a $20 fee for the extra cleaning time involved.

Please know that there was a winterkill of fish in the lake in the winter of 2022-2023. Quite a few Northern pike survived and Perch, Largemouth, and Bluegill minnows are starting to appear. The minnows should be 4 to 7 inches by the end of the year. Hopefully in 1 or 2 years the fishing will be back to normal.

It looks just like the photos. The large yard is beautifully maintained.The cabin contained everything we could have needed including kitchen, bathroom, and personal supplies, everything for the patio and grill. The owners thought of everything!

A restful retreat
A quiet and comfortable cabin on lakefront was the perfect Fall mini vacation. The weather was incredibly warm so we were happy to get out on the water in both the available canoe and paddle boat. The cabin contained all necessities and we enjoyed the down home atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Private and peaceful place
Had a wonderful stay in this cute and peaceful cabin! The owner went above and beyond in stocking the cabin! Made our stay so comfortable because everything we needed was provided! We enjoyed grilling every night while watching the view of the lake and listening to the sounds of birds. The yard was big and well mowed! And it feels like you have your own private lake in front of your yard. The canoe and pedal boat was provided so it was a big treat for us. We enjoyed the amazing lake and the privacy that this place provided. We highly recommend this place!

Another wonderful stay
Our 5th stay at this cabin we had a peaceful getaway. Loved the wild flowers and butterflies in the yard. Watched a mother robin feeding her babies in a nest on top of the window air conditioner. Our favorite home away.

Serene Cabin
What a tranquil getaway location! The yard is very spacious and well maintained to include a beautiful wildflower garden to enhance the private setting. The dock was great as we brought our boat. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We enjoyed several fires during our stay. Great supply of wood! Wonderful hosts!!

Lovely stay!
The property was well maintained and exactly as listed in Rick's post. We enjoyed the private yard and dock. The cabin was well stocked, we over packed because they did such a good job of stocking with supplies. They really thought of everything. We really enjoyed out stay and can't wait to come again.

Even with the weather being erratic. It was such a wonderful time. Had a friend need somewhere to go so they stayed one night and were in awe. Cannot wait to rent this cute little cabin again but add some more friends.

Quiet and Beautiful Summer Getaway

Beautiful surroundings. Decorating style gave a fun cabin vibe. Walking paths short but filled with beautiful wild, native flowers and smelled fresh. Enjoyed all the monarch butterfles and variety of birds. Large supply of wood to make fire pit gazing enjoyable. One day of rain, but the cabin is comfortable and relaxing.

Our second visit from Summer to Fall of this year. Beautiful Fall tree colors!. Very clean cabin well stocked above & beyond all your needs. Perfect getaway from the city!
The property was terrific, obviously well-cared for. We packed so many items we ended up not needing as it was completely stocked with every amenity you could think of. Definitely bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as that was pretty much the only thing lacking. We loved staying here and we will definitely visit again! Thanks, Rick!

We stayed with our two pups. The home and yard were beautiful. Rick has everything with directions that you could need. Our pups loved the large yard and we enjoyed the deer, the loons the view of the lake,and lovely up North feel. We enjoyed the outdoors …. Picnic table and chairs ….. We will look forward to coming back. Completely felt welcoming. Really nicely set up and decorated inside cabin. The outdoors...deer visited every morning. mama duck on shore with her 11 ducklings. Great dock! Only complaint is hard to dock boat as so steep an embankment. But we really didn't need one afterall. Fish were at dock. Marge

Quiet & private
This property was very private and offered lots of peace and quiet. We saw lots of wildlife like deer, beaver, humming birds and bald eagles. The property is very close to Longville which made it nice as there is a restaurant and grocery store there. The cabin was comfortable, but only has a full size bed in the bedroom. The public landing on this lake is right off the road, but it was hard to get the boat back out in two wheel drive vehicle. Overall we really enjoyed our weekend at this property!!
