"The location is perfect for a quick stay. The rooms were clean but a little dated compared to the pictures... hard to beat for the price. My only compaint was the noise from guest above and next to us. I realize you're going to hear other guests at older places but there appeared to be more than enough vacant rooms to spread guest out instead of putting them all in one section on top and next to each other. Would stay again but would request a room on the 2nd level. "

This isn't a fancy place with luxurious amenities, and is frankly a little lacking in terms of room seating and waking comfort. However, it seemed to have been recently updated, was clean and with everything in working order, and the bed and linens were crisp white and comfortable; It was even quiet at night. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Ponderosa. The Hosts are absolutely wonderful very attentive. They are super friendly and love to just chat with their guests as well as go above and beyond to help them. The property is absolutely beautiful with a lovely little stream that passes right by it. Our favorite part of our stay was being able to open our porch door and just listen to the stream while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. Not enough good things to say about how much we enjoyed our stay....
