"I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked into the property and was checked into my room. The room itself was very modern and clean. I loved the cold water in the fridge which you dont often find in accommodation. I also liked the reclining chair to watch tv in. The toiletries were great quality and the outside shutters reduced the noise considerably of the busy road which was the only issue with the property."

It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre. "We loved staying at Wagtail Nest, it was exactly what we expected and more. Eight days of relaxation and peaceful living near all the areas we wanted to explore. The cottage was delicately set within the grounds and we took to the neighbouring horses, the elderly dog Whiskey paid regular evening visits for a tickle. As avid bird watchers we loved the resident Tawny Frogmouth that visited each evening showing off it's hunting skills. Would highly recommend teh 'Nest' for those looking to escape...
