"Had an excellent 2 night break. No delays or issues checking in, friendly greeting, everything was explained. Room was clean, tidy and bigger than expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - food was delicious, great service made it a lovely relaxing experience. Breakfast the next day was good, no shortage of choice and freshly cooked buffet and continental food. One issue - one of 2 coffee machines was broken (these things happen), the other on a go slow, so there were queues which could have been better managed, worked around"

The only criticism was that the mattress was a tad too hard for our liking but that's a personal taste. Apart from that, everything was excellent including the breakfast. "Had a great time celebrating a family gathering. Food was great, staff were helpful and friendly and facilities were good. Loved the games room which kept everyone amused. Hotel is starting to date in parts and could potentially have a freshen up. Corridors were chilly and frayed stair carpets. Overall a great stay and would recommend it. "
