"Lovely little cottage, close to Penrith, keswick and ullswater so plenty of options for things to do. The cottage is ideal for the two of us and the pooch, and is our second time staying there and most likely will be returning next year. We even saw a red squirrel which was very nice, though it was too fast for a photograph. The bed is comfy and the shower is amazing after a long walk. It's pretty much got everything you need. "We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"
