"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"the property is as the Vrbo description The beds were so comfortable. just to make people aware the property is not fully enclosed as if you have inquisitive dogs as mine are they can get into the wood at the side of the garden over a muddy stream then onto a road and leading to fields with livestock in. The garden is a wonderful size for doge to run around in and the outside hose is a great edition to wash down your pets as we had to do on many occasions. We were visited by a deer one morning...

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. "This has been a fantastic property for us. We are working away from home and this property really did become our home away from home. The house is clean, as described, spacious, and makes working away so much easier! Ample parking, good WiFi, great kitchen facilities. Definitely worth the list price, it was perfect."

"Set in isolated rural village with lovely views and walks. Our vist was marred by horrendous wet weather,but we made the best of it. Mark and Madeline were lovely people who made us welcome and dealt with any issues and gave advice about the area."

"We loved our stay at the house. So well equipped and spacious. We especially loved jumping in the hot tub in the evening and relaxing. Host was quick to respond whem we had an issue (make sure you check the pull out drawer in the top of the dishwasher for cutlery 😆) quite remote but that part of the charm - just don't expect anyone to be able to deliver a take away. Was perfect for our friend group as we could all have our own bedroom. Would definitely stay again."

"West House is a beautiful wing of a main building. It was spacious and beautifully kept, and a delight to stay in. The weather was appalling (storm Darragh) whilst we were there but it was snug, warm and cosy indoors. Well-equipped, clean, it was the perfect location for a pre-Christmas family get-together."
