The neighbourhood was peaceful and it's perfect for someone looking for a country get away. The Cowichan Valley has so much to offer in terms of hiking, bike riding and generally being in nature. "Our favorite accommodation on our Vancouver Island tour. We liked the location, out of town and near our friends. "Everything was perfect. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The patio was wonderful to sit out on and enjoy the sunshine. The area was easy to get around in, shopping close by and has the best restaurant/pub (Cobblestone Pub) we’ve had the pleasure to eat at. Every item we picked was delicious and the service was awesome. The Thai restaurant in Shawinigan Lake was also excellent, great pad thai! We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it highly."

"This was a fantastic unit! It had everything you would want for a comfortable stay. The ocean view and sound of the waves was a highlight. Seals swam by, sea birds floated in the waves.
