"Great if you need somewhere cheap to just stay the night. The room was perfectly clean but a bit run down and in need of some TLC. (Peeling paint, damp ceilings etc). We just needed a clean bed to stay the night and it did exactly that. Perfectly clean and the communication with the staff is quick and effective. "

"The Harcourt apartments are situated in a quiet area, near a chip shop and within easy reach of the main part of Newark town, the castle, cinema, parks etc.. "Lovely place to stay! Right in city centre, the place itself has everything you need- well equipped from plates, pans and hairdryer to a washing machine/dryer. The TV even has Netflix. Very nice and clean and great communication from the company on how to check in etc or if there is a problem."

"The actual room itself was very clean and well presented. It was perfectly functional, exactly what I needed it to be - a base for sleeping. However within the listing it needs to be made clearer that this is 1 room in a shared complex and as such you are sharing the shower and toilet with the other occupants of the building. "Nice big rooms, Nice reception area with pleasant staff . The spa swimming area with Sauna and Steam room is decent and the bars are nice with nice bar staff. Also visited the restaurant for dinner which was excellent with great service , good quality food and a nice setting."

Reasonable enough

"Self check in seems like more hassle than worth especially as staff on hand to help/do. Would have been far smoother to have a normal check in desk. Not like I got paid to work for them and do the job. Slave labour... Room ok, mid range fair. No glasses for bathroom. No towel rail either! And worst, advertising bedside charger so only brought a usb but turned out no bedside socket of any sort. Bed comfortable. Room seemed quite enough. Bar prices reasonable. Advertising cocktails, yet dont have any cocktails on a n early spring, yet busy, Saturday. Lots of lager, just one Pale Ale, no proper beer. A good place to watch sports as lots of large TV. Do download the app and get 5% off. The new user 25% off doesn't seem to work. (two of party tried, neither worked)"
