Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from covent garden underground station. Room was nice and clean. It's not a 5 star hotel but I would definitely stay here again.

I love quirky boutique hotels and this was that. I was in London to see a few shows and The Fielding was within walking distance of each theatre, as well as to Covent Garden, Covent Garden Station, and other activities I had planned. The huge stains on the carpeting in the room and the "dripping stains" on the wall near the headboard did give me pause. The room definitely needed some updating and cleaning. Just note that there is no elevator, so if you cannot do stairs this may not do. I would consider staying there again, and just ask for additional cleaning services, if needed.
