It wouldn't be Bethnal Green without a certain edge of urban cool. And edges are something this home does particularly well with its open staircase, modernist lines and industrial-style brick. Combine this with a swish, minimalist aesthetic plus a private roof terrace and you've got all the trimmings to enjoy this eclectic pocket of East London in style. With plenty of hip bars and eateries, Bethnal Green still manages to retain a dash of that down-to-earth East End grit, as well offering speedy access into the city when you hop on the Central Line (just minutes down the road)...
Minimalist it might be, but there's no scrimping on stylishness at this chic one-bedroom pad. A light-filled, open-plan living room boasts a blend of textures, offsetting wood floors and exposed brickwork with a delectably soft rug and large cushy sofa. At one end sits a dining table with space for six guests and vintage views of the classic terraced street opposite, whilst the other offers a contemporary contrast with the sleek kitchen and impressive glass curtain wall opening onto a delightful roof terrace. Nip out here on a warm evening for a few drinks and a spot of alfresco dining. If things get a bit chilly, you can always cosy up by the wood burner afterwards. Wind your way upstairs and you'll find a well-equipped bathroom, complete with decadent double steam showers, followed by an attractive top-floor bedroom showcasing clean white interiors, a striking four-poster bed and standalone bathtub. All boxes ticked.
We Love
The living area is bursting with well-placed contrasts, be it smooth tiles and textured bricks or fresh tones and charcoal accents. We're also very keen on that open staircase, which lends a swanky air of architectural design to the place. It's hard not to overpraise such an expertly understated home.
