This is a delightful large end-of-terrace house over four floors, freshly decorated to a high standard, complete with new high quality white IKEA furniture and large luxury beds, real wood flooring, triple glazing and underfloor heating throughout. It's in a quiet residential street with local amenities. You will be so comfortable, you won't want to leave!

You will be in close proximity to central London and all its attractions. The best part is that many of the top attractions are a short walk or taxi ride away!

The open plan living room is large and very bright and has a door to the garden (garden available as of June). It also has a large 5-seater corner sofa.

Including the daybed there is 6 beds, potentially 7 if the bedroom sofabed is used.
Four UK Kingsize beds (5′x6'6″ 150x200cm), one daybed with two small mattresses when made-up its the equivalent of a kingsize bed, one double,and one sofabed. Potentially enough for 13 people. A baby cot (120cm x 60cm) by request which is not pictured is also available.

To keep all your devices connected, there is free super-fast (200mbps) wi-fi broadband from Virgin Media with unlimited downloads.

The kitchen is fully fitted with double height fridge-freezer, Bosch oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a full 12-unit set of cutlery and crockery, and a full range of cooking items (pots, pans, utensils). Washer and separate dryer are also in the house.

There is a dining table with 10 chairs and a baby high chair in the kitchen.

Freshly cleaned and luxurious 100% cotton towels and bed linen are provided free of cost.

The garden has a grand 30 square metre decking patio garden - great for sitting and enjoying during good weather! There is garden table and chairs with large parasol.

There is a front driveway with space to park three cars off-street, needs to be pre-reserved if more than one car.

A gas combination boiler provides central underfloor heating and hot water on demand.

Lots of space to spread out
All seven of us, covering 3 generations of our family, really enjoyed this space. Having 6 bedrooms allowed us to all spread out and have our own bedrooms, which is great when family dynamics occasionally come into play. The small back yard was great to have an outdoor space to enjoy as well. We would gladly stay here again!

Arriving from Australia to a cold winter, we found the property nice and warm. A minor issue with the hot water but sorted quickly (even though it was a weekend) good location and near public transport.

Fantastic Family Stay
This was a great property for a family get together. Loads of bedrooms and amenities were fine for a family group of 11. Top bedroom might take a a bit of navigating with heavy bags but other than that can not fault this property or communication with the owner. We loved our stay in Lambeth and would certainly come back to this property if back in London.

Home away from home.
This home was perfect for my family for our first trip to the UK. Amit communicated excellently with us before, during, and after the trip. The property is located in a nice neighborhood right outside of London. It’s also a short walk away from the Metro. It is really clean and had enough rooms to accommodate 10 of us. I definitely would recommend to anyone visiting London.

Liked the house. But was disappointed with the beds. It was advertised as king size bed and they were double and queens. Location was good for what we wanted to see in London. Close to restaurants, pubs. Etc.

large remodeled apartment with great location
4 adults , 3 children age 12 and under stayed for 3 nights at this newly remodeled ,beautiful and spacious apartment. There were enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate all easily. Also, apartment is on a quiet street, lots of green space and only a couple of blocks to a grocery store and to a bus that takes you to central London. The apartment is centrally located, easy to walk to all the major sights. (Westminster, Mayfair, Buckingham palace.) We did take the tube to see Tower of London but walked back home. Amit, our host, was easily available and helpful if we had any questions. I would recommend this apartment . We had a great time.

Great Location
Great location easy access to the train stations and within walking distance of the Thames and local attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the 2.5 bathrooms were perfect for the six adults living in the residence. The owner was responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. I rated 4/5 because we only had one set of keys to the flat which limited my guests ability to separate and explore without the need to coordinate our arrivals back at the residence and the living room couch is a little worn. Otherwise a great value.

The house was very clean and well set up. The portable fans in each room were very appreciated. I was in communication with the owner several times before our stay. Amit contacted me a couple of weeks before arrival to tell me some remodeling had been done, but was not yet reflected in the pictures on VRBO. We did have one problem that was quickly resolved by Amit and myself, to our satisfaction. If I have the opportunity to visit London again with a large group, I would stay here.

Clean, minimalist stay in excellent location
My family and I (7 adults total) were very impressed with the location of this property. It’s also not often you find a rental this close to the city center for a large group. The townhome itself is in a quiet neighborhood, but with multiple bus stops and train stations in walking distance, not to mention a very short walk to Lambeth Bridge and the Thames River, you can easily get wherever you need to go in London. The home itself was generally clean, the check-in process was easy, and Amit was very responsive when I brought a few small issues to his attention. The property had recently been renovated to create an open floor plan on the first floor and an additional bedroom on the fourth floor. That information hadn’t yet been updated on the VRBO listing, but Amit did make me aware of the improvements prior to our stay. Overall it was a good home base from which to launch our daily excursions into the city, and had plenty of space for our party of 7.

Everything you could need and in the heart of London!
My husband and three kids joined my friend, her husband, and their child for a few days in London and this was the perfect house for the 8 of us. There were 6 bedrooms, 5 of which had full/Queen (?) beds, one of which had a twin, and there were 2 1/2 bathrooms. The living area was small but worked, even for the 8 of us. The dining table was perfect for 8 and the kitchen had every amenity you might need. There were TWO washers and dryers, USB ports in the wall to charge phones, etc., fans in every room, a dishwasher, plenty of toilet paper, soap, etc. - they really thought of everything! My only complaint is that the online listing and photos do not match the house - it almost appears to be a completely different flat. I’m not sure why there are not updated photos given that people have been complaining about the inaccurate photos for years.

The house was very clean. The location is close to bus stops and tube stations - only a short walk to the Imperial War Museum. We would definitely consider staying here again. A few minor notes to be aware of: There were supposed to be 2 sets of keys but we only had one. This is not a problem when everyone is out and about: we kept the keys in the lock box. However, if one person goes out and the others are sleeping, then the people left behind are either locked in (not safe) or the security door (which requires keys to open from inside and out) had to be left unlocked. There are 2 washing/drying machines , however the dryer upstairs was still broken when we were there. Instructions for all the appliances are supposed to be available but some are missing. In a previous review, the owner states he was adding body wash but that was not available on our stay.

Adequate But Not Great
There were pros and cons -- Pros: 2 clothes washers, coffee pot with some coffee; 1 hair dryer; fairly redone but furniture a bit worn; location good; fans in every bedroom. Cons: Serious safety issues with tub/shower as there was no slip proof mat and no grab bars and tub was slippery; no plugs in bathrooms (may be code); only mirrors were in 2 bathrooms on floors 1 & 2 but not in ground floor at all; sofa sleeper extremely poor so two 70+ seniors had to sleep on couches to stay on ground floor; garden not kept up; some problems with plumbing; no instructions for dishwasher; only 1 set of keys not the extra sets as per instructions. The manager highly recommended Taxicode but they did not show up at the airport and when called said that they cancelled our ride. I would NEVER recommend Taxicode.

Wonderful Christmas Holiday
We were two families (4 adults, 3 kids) staying 10 days. The accommodations worked great for us. The pictures online are a little different than what it is (I think it's been newly remodeled). The living/dining/kitchen are all in one room. Big sectional couch and big dining table. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, and flatware. We were able to make a full Christmas dinner. We mostly frequented Sainsbury Local, but the Tesco Express was close and we even walked to Tesco one day. The host, Amit, was very easy to get ahold of if needed, both before and during the trip. We went to several local pubs and especially enjoyed The Steam Engine, The Black Prince, and The Tankard. If traveling over Christmas be aware of businesses closing early or completely closed 24th-26th. There were plenty of beds and even extra bedding. There were bath towels in each room (exact number for our party) plus hand towels and bath mats but no extras that we could find in drawers. The washer and dryer were very helpful for us not needing to pack as much luggage. We would definitely recommend. Excellent price as well.

Overall a good house
We stayed here for 3 nights and there were some good and bad. It is in a very good location, close to go anywhere. Stores and restaurants with in walking distance. Plenty of bedrooms for large groups like ours. There were a few things that kept me from putting 5 stars. The backyard had overgrown weeds and long grass so we didn't even get to use the backyard since no one wants to look at that. The instructions had incorrect wifi info. There were also supposed to be 2 sets of keys but there was only 1. When we emailed the owner about the wifi info being wrong and needing the correct info their repose was "look at the modem." And when we asked the owner where the other set of keys were they said " the cleaning lady took them"... these responses weren't very helpful. They should have changed the instructions if the wifi info changed and told the cleaning lady to bring the keys back. Other than this the house was fine.

Good location - in need of a bit of care.
The first impression was that it looked a little worn. The sofa covers looked grubby and there were several scuff marks on the walls. The beds on the top floor rear were not very comfortable and need replacing with better ones. The kitchen was well equipped and some nice touches like tea and coffee provided and flowers on the table. The location is very good for access on foot to the Thames and Westminster and there are bus and train stations really close by. During our stay though we had an unfortunate problem with a leakage from a pipe leading from the bath tub which caused water to come through the ceiling to the bedroom below. This happened in the evening but the landlord responded quickly and three people arrived to fix the bedroom, replacing the mattress and bedding so the bedroom could be used again. We also received adequate compensation but it was a shame it happened. We were left with the use of one bathroom for the rest of the stay. I don't want to sound too harsh as this property COULD be really lovely. It is not far off but needs to be looked after. All correspondence with the landlord before and during the stay was quick and clear and lots of information provided.
