Beautiful apt.

This apartment was very spacious. It had wonderful views of London. The area is very centrally located. Around the block from borough market and train station. Emma responded quickly to our concerns. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location with panoramic views of the city

Host was great and helped us with check in after our original VRBO rental was a no show and we were stranded. Beautiful apartment and would stay again!

Nice Space

The space was great and there was great food nearby. Easy walk to Tube and could go anywhere in London with maximum of 2 changes, but most were one stop or direct Space was nice and bright and was a great place to hang out and chill.

Interesting property- cool view

Property is unique- with cool views and very close proximity to Bourough Market and the Shard. Eclectic furnishings - felt so much like we were staying at a borrowed place whilst the owners were out traveling. Beautiful light and lots of space! It was a cold week in London and we were pretty cold within the flat itself as well. There were pest traps of some type around the place- no actual pests were encountered. It’s on the top floor (5?) and no elevator. We had checked bags and were lucky enough to have people in the group who saw the challenge like a fun workout. It would have been a big problem with others (aka like older, injury, or rambunctious littles). Check in and key pick up requires retrieval from a nearby business- which was a first for us.

locked out of the building

When arrived the key to the building didn't work. I messaged the host and they let us in within 5 minutes. The host explained that just ring at any time and she will let us in. I explained that we were going out and will not be back too late due to us having a 11 year old child. Came back about 22:00. We rang approximately 20 times and sent numerous messages with no response. We were locked out of the building for 30+ minutes at night due to the key not working and the host not answering the phone as she advised us to do.

Nice views, but....

My overall impression was that someone lived there most of the time but rented it out once in a while. It didn't feel very clean, there were mouse traps everywhere and used soap bars in the showers. There was trash left in the kitchen bin and the dishes in the cupboards weren't that clean. The apartment advertisement said there were 2 king beds, but they were queen sized. There was no microwave as advertised and just lots of personal stuff in the cabinets. The refrigerator handles had a tie on them and a sign that said "please don't use", but there was a small refrigerator in another area for use. The light switches were very confusing, there were just so many. The apartment was on the top floor with 91 steps, but they were flat and wide enough, so it was easy to ascend. The lighting in the hallway for the stairs was good. We were locked out of the apartment when we arrived because the key fob wasn't working. But the host was immediately available to buzz us in. We ended up getting a second set of keys at the key nest, so it all worked out. The coffee maker is not a standard one, so if you know how to use an espresso maker it's fine (I don't know how to use one). There was plenty of salt/pepper, etc for cooking, but I wasn't comfortable cooking there. The appliances just didn't seem user friendly. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was quiet. The outside garden area was a special surprise.
