The property appeared fine and was clean, but we slowly discovered some important things that were not adequate, including a complete lack of hot water. At first I thought there must be a recirculation button that needs to be pushed, but there was none in site. I sent a message to the host in the morning and went out site-seeing, thinking it could be resolved during the day. There was no response. So that evening I reached out to customer service, who also tried to contact the host. No response still. Needless to say, it was uncomfortable.
In addition to this, the sofa/bed was very poor quality and uncomfortable. All of the faucets were loose and a little leaky. There was a wall with an obviouse missing piece of art, and the front door lock was completely missing a faceplate. These are all things I could ignore, but not having a warm shower is a real problem, as is not receiving a single response. Apparently there is no accountability and vrbo does nothing, so I don't anticipate going that route again.
