This Place is a DIRTY Dump!
Booking was easy. Communications with "Sasha" were positive and promising. "Sasha" established 3-way communication with "Monika" who I assumed was a concierge of some sort. Free breakfast consisted of 4 bananas, 4 oranges, a glass container of some sort of cereal and a quart of milk - for 3 people for 3 nights. The "welcome gift" was apparently the piles of garbage on the doorstep of the building which remained there for our entire stay. Monika is actually the cleaning lady, who, together with her husband, greeted us on our arrival. The apartment is DIRTY. My daughter caught her foot on a nail inside the entrance that we discovered was a series of nails pounded through the threadbare carpeting. There is no vanity lighting in either bathroom and Sasha asked me if we couldn't just get by. The headboards in both bedrooms were broken - Monika actually accused me of "jumping on the beds", which were not King beds but, in the Master, was 2 twin beds jammed onto a King platform and the 2nd bedroom had a broken-down mattress, the $.50 plastic lampshades were melted, the curtain rod in the "master" was trashed, the mold and mildew in the bathrooms was appalling, the washer/dryer did not work. Sasha & Monika both verbally abused me on my apparent ignorance of how to operate a washing machine, and Monika told me to use the "dryer" in the closet - a folding cheap laundry device that your Grandmother may have used. The TV remotes did not work because there were no batteries in them
