Lovely, comfortable apartment near Battersea Power Station
We were 3 cousins gathering from 3 different places to attend a family wedding in nearby Brixton. The location was near cafes, restaurants while also convenient to the wedding venue and pre and post events.
It is definitely just below one of the landing paths for flights to Heathrow.
David was a very attentive host.
First time traveling to London and this place couldn't have been a better house to stay in. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms are all updated and very clean. David, the owner/manager provided great communication throughout the booking/checking in process. We particularly loved the location of the house, its mere few minutes walk from a bus stop and really close to a large grocery and great restaurants. We loved our trip to London but it was long and busy days visiting all the sites. Coming home to this tranquil and relaxing house was really what we needed. We plan on coming back to London at some point and we will definitely stay here again.
We booked this house for proximity to Chelsea Flower Show, we could walk there. It is a wonderful house, fully stocked, clean, bright and very comfortable. Highly recommend. Communication with owner was outstanding, responses were quick and informative.
The flat was great. Super close to the bus and train. David was great with communication. Small internet issue but no big deal. We loved the neighborhood. Not as many pubs or stores as other locations but we didn't mind taking a few steps. Had a blast. 10/10
The property was just as listed. It was very comfortable to stay in and David was a gracious host. The flat is close to bus stops going to almost all destinations in London. One quick note buy your bus pass (oyster card) on line before you go to London. I wood recommend this listing to anyone visiting London. The are some first class restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
Nice flat with everything we needed. Comfortable. Good WiFi, I had a few zoom meetings and everything worked well. Very close to bus lines and good neighbourhood restaurants. Quiet neighbourhood. Very responsive host. Will stay there again.
Lovely flat, and convenient location to restaurants and grocery. Battersea Power Plant mall within walking distance. Had a little issue with thermostat changing on its own but owner helped with that. Would recommend some updating of furniture and linens, but overall beds were comfortable.

Close to London and public transport
Property was good. Bed were comfortable, unit was well appointed. A couple of issues were that the TV kind of worked. There were no free to air stations available that I could find, it was all streaming. The dryer proved a bit troublesome and was rather dirty. All in all it was a pleasant stay.
Four of us had a great time staying in David's Battersea flat. The location is great. It's a short walk to the trendy Battersea Power Station shopping center but in a quiet neighborhood near a bus stop. What I loved best was that the flat was fully kitted out. It was like walking into my own home kitchen when I wanted to cook. That's rare in apartment rentals and was SUCH a plus. We will rent here again when we visit London.
I am so glad we booked David's flat for our week stay in London. As soon as we entered, it was a welcoming, comfortable, tidy place. A real home away from home. Perfectly stocked, with very comfortable beds and helpful suggestions and instructions. 2 bedrooms, one of them ensuite, and another bathroom in the hallway. It was warm, and because of the skylights and patio window - lovely and bright too.
Enjoyed are stay on Emu Street. It is a very quiet street. The garden area was a nice place to relax. The neighborhood fox enjoyed the garden area too. Not kidding. We saw her on the street one night also. The apartment is as it appears in the ad. Lots of space and a great kitchen. Comfy beds. Never hurts to have laundry in the unit too. It is a bit off the beaten path, but a nice neighborhood. It was a 20 minute walk to the Battersea tube stop.
David was very responsive. Wifi went down and he rigged an alternative quickly.

A lovely, well-appointed flat with modern furnishings and fixtures. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked with all the essentials and supermarkets were only a ten minute walk away.
Beds and bed linen were of high quality and really comfortable.Towels were luxuriously large and thick.
High quality coffee table books, art works and personal decorating touches made the flat a lovely, relaxing abode while visiting family in Battersea. The outdoor terrace also added to a Summer stay. I would happily book this flat for future visits.
Our stay in Battersea was fantastic and the home was top notch. It had everything we needed and wanted to "live like locals" during our visit.
It is close to local shops, restaurants and transportation. Bus stops are right around the corner and a quick ride to the tube station in Clapham gave us easy access to the Northern Line.
The home was comfortable and fully stocked with all household items; pots, pans, plates, cutlery, linens. The bed was very comfortable and the visitors guide explained everything we needed to use all electronics.
We were in town for shopping, dining, NFL football and living the dream.
This home definitely allowed us to do all of those.
My daughter and I spent almost two weeks in this property during our trip to London. The property was exceptional, the location was better than we expected, and our host was fantastic.
The two bedroom, two bath apartment was just what we needed. It was well stocked with the necessaries - sheets, towels, dishes, appliances, etc. - but the "little things" were also addressed - the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. From cookware to dinnerware to spices and utensils, everything we needed was there. It was a truly worry-free experience.
The apartment location was far better than we expected. It's in a quiet neighborhood across the river from all the noise and congestion of London. When we finished our site-seeing days it was a quiet refuge to relax and recharge for the next day. There are four bus stops within a five minute (or less) walk and those stops service multiple routes that we were able to use to get everywhere we needed to go in London. We enjoyed the bus rides - and the people watching - and also connected with the Underground as needed. Also within a five-minute walk are two grocery stores, a convenience store and multiple take out and eat in restaurants.
David, our host, was quick to respond to a minor issue that came up on our first day. It was resolved before we returned from our first day of site-seeing.
This will be my "go to" for future trips to London. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Excellent communication with David-minor wi-fi glitch was resolved quickly and worked fine for the stay. Always available to answer questions. Very comfortable: large luxurious towels, relaxing lounge furniture, restful beds with large wardrobes in each bedroom to store clothing and luggage, Cleanliness not an issue anywhere in the flat. A want for nothing kitchen for taking meals in the flat. Convenient to transportation: buses 137, 452, 156 to Sloane Square, Clapham Junction, Wimbledon are a SHORT 2 blocks from the flat. Also close are an Argentian and Italian restaurant.
We have been doing short-term rentals in the UK for 30+ years. This rental not only met but greatly exceeded our expectations. Definitely a 10!!!!!!!
The location of the unit is very close to major amenities (bus, rail, grocery, convenience items, some restaurants, coffee shops). Check in details were clear and easy to follow. Many essentials in kitchen were available (but no coffee pot - nespresso maker available but guests need to purchase own pods, was not ideal for our late arrival and morning caffeine needs!). Suggest you bring your own nespresso pods until you can get to Sainsbury’s which is a 5-10 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable (I shared a bed with sister and elderly dad had his own room/bathroom) but I would say it was more equivalent to a North American queen or large double. I couldn’t even feel my sister toss as the quality of mattress was excellent. We ran out of toilet paper after the first day but suspect this was an exception as the unit was well stocked with most items. Tv system was confusing ad there were 4 remotes, but that’s also my own challenge at home (!). We walked around at night and always felt quite safe in this community. I think the unit could use a little touching up (some doors wouldn’t close properly) but overall satisfied.
The VRBO was well maintained and updated. The bathrooms were nice and bed was comfortable. It’s a bit far from central London so lots of walking and relatively long commutes.
As mentioned in the title, the apartment is located in an established residential neighborhood. It is quiet and well kept. The apartment interior is mostly modern and well maintained. Internet is strong, kitchen amenities are excellent, full size fridge, with a washer and dryer. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and could easily accommodate a party of four (there were three of us). Sainsbury’s and Tesco are about a six minute walk away and there are several restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed.
Unfortunately, there is no nearby access to the Tube. Bus service is only a three minute walk from the apartment which worked well for us, but I realize is not everyone’s cup of tea. Second issue was that the next door neighbor has a very yappy dog and on a couple of evenings the neighbor seemed to walk around till very late in the evening (thin walls).
Overall, I’d give it a 4 1/2 out of 5, which is pretty darn good.
CHEERS!!! 🍻
