Dissapointing
This is a great location however our room was little more than a Bathroom with a bed in it. We booked the hotel because it advertises having a bar and restaurant, however the bar and restaurant are closed. the staff are friendly but completely ineffectual.
The neighbourhood was too complicated : renovation in the area, crowded and impossible to get a cab in front of hotel. Definitely making things complicate for a business trip with loads of luggage. restaurant was in renovation too so only available for breakfast : not what one would expect... That said, people were nice and room was large and clean.

Terrible! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone
The shower was terrible! The water was like warm to cold. Front office staff were down right rude and surly!
Arrived evening about 1930 think we were last as had room with the wet / disable bathroom - when shower on water everywhere in bathroom even with shower curtain and takes all night to dry out.
The room was clean and bed comfortable with great TV on wall etc...windows double glazed but need triple glazing ! noise from clubs & pubs kicking out about 0400 and then the brewery started with the collection of empty and delivery of full barrel from 0700, really thought the windows were open but they were not.
Sorry to moan but that's what I think and its all the truth.
Can't believe there is not even a small table in the room!!!!!
How can anyone do minimal work without a table. 3 1/2 stars? Without a table which is most basic.
Stayed for the weekend with my boyfriend, staff where very helpful. Very comfortable rooms,no problem with the bath in the room. The location is fab which makes the hotel even more appealing . Definitely would stay again and recommend it. If the weather is nice the bar downstairs is great for ending the evening people watching . We didn't eat here but the food looked good.
Excellent little hotel in a great location. Our room was cozy and perfect for a couple as the shower is not private. Appreciated the high quality toiletries. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here with my 16 year old daughter. A lovely, very clean small hotel. Luxury!

Overpriced and nothing special
This a small 'boutique' hotel very centrally located next to Leicester Square. We encountered no problems on our stay, but just expected something a bit more special for the amount of money charged by the hotel. What we got was a fairly small hotel room (pleasantly kitted out, admittedly), no real facilities, and no effort by staff to make us feel like we were anywhere special. Location wise it was excellent, but otherwise left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Would not return.
the area around the hotel is crowded with people and the hotel windows aren't well insulated so you can hear a lot of noise from the street all throughout the night
I was very dissapointed in this hotel. The rooms are grossly mis-represented on the hotels website. My room had one tiny window, which faced what I think was an air shaft - needless to say it felt like a dark box. The hot water faucet in the shower fell off completely in my hands. There were hairs all over the bathroom. The electric socket also fell out of the wall the first time I went to plug in an appliance. For the money, I would have expected far better. I checked out after my first night despite the fact that I prepaid for two nights and stayed with a friend.
We checked in for our second wedding anniversary and had a very enjoyable stay in this modern stylish attention to detail gem of a hotel in the heart of soho everything is within walking distance which will save much cash on taxi's .
The hotel also is very peaceful quiet location tucked away in a pedestrian street behind Leicester sq .Found the hotel whilst searching online and will return again after the refurbishment which is now in progress .
OLS is ideally located for doing stuff in central london. It is comfortable, clean and quiet. It lacks a hotel atmosphere, but then is more like a collection of rooms. Not sure about the shower in the bedroom, but it depends who you're staying with. A pleasant stay, and didn't have the breakfast.
I stayed here for two nights whilst attending a conference. Room was clean and well apportioned, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was the best feature--and easy walk through Chinatown, Piccadilly, Leicester, and--if you're up for a longer walk--Westminster. I would, and may ver well, stay here again.
