I checked out today, the 2 staff at the reception were very rude and unprofessional. When l was handing in the keys they kept on talking to each laughing as if they didn’t see me as a customer to Hand in the keys. Very unprofessional behaviour. Then one of them just snatch the keys from my hand. Then l walked away to leave the building , one of them 2 said to me “have a good day” both of them laughing.

Thousands of cigarette butts litter around hotel entrance. Staff is lovely, friendly and helpful - but they’re understaffed and waiting time at bar and reception too long. Wifi so slow they should rather just not bother.

Room and bathroom stank of stale nicotine. I put the air-con on to provide a breeze to reduce the odour when in bed, but this was noisy and drying so shocking nights sleep. Carpet was dirty.
