I’ve always been of the opinion that the very best hotels in the world make you feel welcome on arrival, at home during your stay and valued when you leave. The Ham Yard hotel absolutely nailed all three and invariably gave us the very best stay we have ever enjoyed from any hotel in the world. My wife and children were equally wowed by the friendly staff and superb service and our room was beautiful. We really didn’t want to leave and are already olanning a return in the future to this exceptional establishment.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! If you are looking for an upscale, trendy hotel in a wonderful location, this is your spot. The service is impeccable, from small details like milk and cookies left for our daughter to the concierge returning our call at midnight. The restaurant, grounds and hotel are well taken care of with carefully curative artsy design details. Gorgeous, spacious rooms that make you forget you’re so close to a bustling city. The hotel is nestled away in a quiet corner of a hip area. Very walkable to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We felt extremely welcomed with our daughter but my husband and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy an adults trip soon!

Generally an awesome hotel delivering an awesome experience and consistent with other firmdale hotels. I was disappointed in concierge directing me to the web when I was trying to organise a last minute day trip to Oxford. Felt they could have done more to make it happen. Ended up having to book a Avis car myself with no assistance from hotel staff.
