Delve into the vintage clothes, crafts and trinkets of trendy Notting Hill, wandering down cobblestone avenues, perusing colourful buildings and hunting for antique treasures. Stop off at an independent bookshop and a classy café on the way home for a little breather. When – full of caffeine and caught up on literature – you do eventually return to your new home-from-home, the leafy green expanse of Hyde Park, just a twenty-three-minute walk away, comes calling for a romantic picnic or a gentle stroll.
