Quiet and pleasant location. Very walkable from the Earl's Court underground station, as well as supermarket and a number of eateries. Walking at night felt really safe.
Check in was easy, and nice to know the front desk is manned 24/7.
Room had everything we needed, all clean, tidy and comfortable. But, there were some minor qwerks and faults:
- Large and odd step up the bathroom, caused some cursing in the middle of the night.
- Beds were super springy and comfortable, but the sheets didn't fit them well and had completely untucked by morning.
- Above the beds had multifunctional lamp fixtures (lamp, spotlight and USB charging ports), but they were way too high up from the beds - because the beds were so squishy, we had to basically stand up on the beds to turn the switches.
- One of the lamp fixtures was hanging out of the wall, and kind of crackled on and off sometimes, like the wiring was a bit dodgy.
- There was very little space between or at the ends of the beds - nowhere to put our bags but on the beds or just inside the entrance, which didn't feel very safe.
- There was no bolt lock inside the room, and no do not disturb/service needed door handle sign, so we had house keeping barge in on us twice.
But overall, it was a pleasant and restful stay, with facilities on par with the price range. I'd definitely stay there again!
