The location was perfect for me -- in fact it was the same street (not same hotel) where I stayed in 2012. It's a lovely, well-kept B&B. Breakfast was wonderful -- and all the staff delightful. I'm giving the hotel a high rating because it deserves it. My accommodations were not delightful -- the room was the size of a walk-in closet and it had no bathroom. To be fair, that was my fault, having inadvertently booked a room with "separate bath." Both the toilet and shower were private, but as a woman in my 70s, having to walk down the hall to shower or go to the toilet (including middle of the night) was not fun. Add to that the fact that I had to use a (wonky) key to unlock them every time. Thankfully I stayed here only 2 nights. By the 2nd night, realizing that no one else on the floor needed my toilet and shower, I left them unlocked overnight. Long story short, I would return to the Euro if I wanted to be in the Bloomsbury neighborhood with a student vibe and a wonderful assortment of restaurants and pubs. But I'd be good and sure to book a room with an ensuite bathroom!

Interesting potential in nice area, but needs serious refurbishing
This truly is the best hotel I've stayed in on my many visits to London. The breakfast has a good choice of full English, cooked to order, and continental, the little pastries are delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they are so polite
I had a separate toilet and shower which, in itself, wasn't a problem. The slightest inconvenience was nowhere to wash hands after using the toilet until getting back to the room. Once I realised I used a wet wipe until I could wash my hands.
We were surprised by the friendliness of staff and the amazing breakfast.

Independent hotels in London are generally in very old buildings and this is no exception.
Positives:
- Good location in upscale neighbourhood close to many tube and train stations, and little parks
- Very clean building and rooms
- My husband, a native Londoner, loved the building and location
- served (not buffet) full English breakfast is good
Negatives
- our Quad room was advertised as 4 beds but only had 2 single beds and one small double. It was in the basement
- got an additional room on top floor which was very nice, but the 3rd flood had a strong musty odour
Bottom line: We will probably stay there again, or at least in that area.

The single room I booked by mistake had a shower and a toileta outside the room (8 m away).
I realised the mistake 10 min after hte booking but the hotel refused to cancel the reservation.
It should be noted that the headline of the single room dis not clearly show the fact that these facilities are remote from the room
Not having a toilet or shower in the room was a big negative, and then the facilities that were available are locked (with awkward keys) and small. So you are out in a hallway, fiddling with keys. Avoid the basic room.
;Way over-priced for the quality of the room. Breakfast wasn't bad, but it didn't make up for the other problems at this hotel. We were subjected to an outrageous argument between the hotel and one of its patrons, which went on for more than 30 minutes of noni-stop screaming before we even checked in. Really ruined the day for us. Bathrooms are tiny, showers are gross, beds and bedding are not comfortable. Way overpriced for the quality.,
Excellent central location 5-7 mins walking to Euston station for trains; St. Pancras for Eurostar; and Russell Square tube station for subway. Very clean and comfortable beds. Nice to open windows and fan in room with hot weather. Excellent hot breakfast and tea in the morning. Juice all day.

It's complicated.
It was not clear to me when I booked that my room did not contain a toilet and shower: I have exclusive access to a toilet and shower down the hall. To be be fair to Euro hotel, this is probably hotels.com issue. The room is just okay. The bed is firmer and lumpier than I find comfortable.
Great hotel with helpful staff and easy access to the station. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed- nice view out of the window and also a lovely park across the road. Plenty of options for food too.
The staff were really helpful. We arrived slightly early just to leave our bag, but the lady at reception let us check-in to our room early.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a lovely view across the gardens and tennis courts.
The only negative point was the really creaky floor in the room above. The noise was really loud when people above us were walking around. It woke us up as they got up around five and the noise went on for quite some time so we weren't able to sleep after.
This is the only negative thing about our stay. Everything else was really good.
Breakfast was great with good choice of cereals, fruit, pastries and yogurts. There was a choice of full English breakfast and toast which was cooked freshly to order.
The best part for us was that the hotel had both gluten free cereal and bread available for my son. I did check beforehand and was told it wasn't a problem which was really kind. If you have a coeliac in the family you will know that it can make such a difference when these options are available, so thank you especially for your help with this.
The hotel is really convenient for Euston station and Russell Square tube. You can walk to either in under ten minutes. But the location is also quiet.
We would definitely stay at the Euro Hotel again. Thank you to all the staff.
This is a very nice basic hotel in an area close to the British Library and British Museum. Rooms are nice and breakfast is terrific. That staff were especially helpful and pleasant.
The staff was all helpful and had a good breakfast.

Quiet and conveniently close to St Pancras Station to catch the Eurostar. Enjoyable breakfast. Nice quiet location.
We knew the family room and bathroom were small but the room was unpleasantly hot such that even with the fan on max all night it was difficult to sleep properly (end June). It may be more pleasant at outside of summertime.
