A beautiful flat within a short walk of Portobello Road and Royal Kensington Palace, the property occupies the first floor of a unique Victorian building on a quiet Kensington road. It is bright and airy, with high ceilings, two large sash windows and an original cornice. The property is in excellent condition, with a reception/dining room and open plan kitchen, a bright double bedroom, a compact bathroom with bath/shower, a separate toilet and gas fired central heating.

The flat is very close to three Underground stations; Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Bayswater. There is also a bus stop at the end of the street which gives quick and direct access to London hotspots like; Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square

The immediate area has a large choice of quality restaurants, cosy pubs and lively bars. If you want to take a relaxing walk, the flat is across the road from Kensington Gardens and Royal Kensington Palace. Portobello Road is just around the corner...and there is even an ice rink and 10 pin bowling alley at the end of the street!

Fabulous for our short stay!
The owner was immediately available by text and checking in. This was right around the time of travel restrictions for COVID and we were very stressed. The location and space was perfect and every manual etc was made available for the flat. We had a great last couple of nights before heading back to the U.S. The place was spotless and quaint. Just what we needed.

Great location in a cozy, clean flat
This flat was perfect for one person. While the place is cozy, it was clean and had everything I needed. I didn't do much cooking in the flat, so I cannot comment on that, but appreciated the many other details. I LOVED the attention to detail in the information of how to operate things in the flat, what all the light switches did, etc. Location is amazing with 3 tube stations (Notting Hill Gate, Bayswater and Queensway) all within easy walking distance. Tons of restaurant options in the area as well. It's a relatively quiet neighborhood which I appreciated. Having a washer and dryer was highly convenient. Andrew was very easy to communicate with and was patient in answering all my questions :). I would not hesitate to stay in this flat again. Thank you Andrew for a wonderful stay!

Snug little gem
Great little flat in the heart of Notting Hill. We'll appointed kitchen, comfy bed. Bathroom, with full shower, is a little snug (unless you're from Manhattan!) but there's a separate toilet, which definitely helps. If you want a romantic little flat for two, this one's for you.

This unit has been completely and tastefully remodeled for the short-term traveler. Andrew has included everything you might need, including a blow dryer, tour books and a fully equipped kitchen. You will enjoy being located in a quiet neighborhood between two Underground stations (on different lines), near many restaurants, pubs and shopping (including grocery stores and the amazing Portobello Road shops). Reserve now and enjoy your stay in this incredible city!

This is a lovely flat in a great location. The flat is presented just as shown in the photos. Well furnished, thoughtfully equipped, comfortable and tasteful. The flat was spotlessly clean. We loved the Notting Hill location with bus stops, tube, shops and numerous restaurants very close at hand. Andrew was an excellent host. Responded very quickly to emails and provided very clear instructions and information. It was faultless. The only minor negative is the entrance - narrow staircase which would be tricky for infirm people. We very highly recommend this property and would return with no hesitation.

Cozy flat in prime area
We stayed for a month in this flat and loved it! It had a separate bedroom, a dishwasher, a clothes washer, a bathtub, good TV, all the things we were looking for. It was one flight up a narrow staircase, but not any problem. It was a reasonable walk to Notting Hill Gate tube stop on the Central Line which took us to most sights (also District/Circle line there). Grocery stores nearby and many excellent restaurants (recommend Kalamaris near the Bayswater tube stop) as our favorite. Andrew was an excellent host, met us at the property and supplied us with all we needed.

Cosy Apartment in Notting Hill
We found this apartment a cosy place to return to each evening following our day exploring London. It is close to stations and bus lines which provides easy access to anywhere you needed to go and really close to Kensington Gardens. Andrew was helpful and the apartment had everything we needed, our only concern was a location to store our suitcases. I would recommend this to other couples.

Great Location and Comfortable!
Thank you so much to Andrew for our stay in this neato area of London! We really enjoyed our long breakfasts, being able to do laundry, and a couple of home cooked dinners there. The flat was a great little refuge after our long touristy days and we would recommend it to anyone with the caveat about the winding staircase up the 1 flight which could pose a challenge for some. We felt cared for and at home. We really loved London and miss it already!

It's everything that's promised and more!
Let's start with hospitality - upon booking the flat, the owner, Andrew, wrote a message to welcome me heartily and reconfirm the details of the rental. In email communications that followed between the booking and the day I checked in, Andrew was immediately responsive as we coordinated the exchange of keys upon arrival. Then the apartment itself is exactly what's promised in the description: contemporary, up-to-date amenities, very modern bathroom facilities, and radiant in light entering from both sides of the building. I stayed in the apartment at the end of June so the hours of light were long and - bonus - the number of birds singing outside the bedroom window in the morning (sunrise 4:40) made me feel like Snow White in the Disney movie. Staying in this apartment, I truly felt as though I were a neighbor rather than a tourist on this block. The nearness to both Kensington Gardens and Portobello Road is the selling point but it's the hospitality extended by Andrew that humanizes the online booking process in a warm way.

Wonderful Stay
Perfect flat for our visit to London. Andrew met us and gave a brief tour of the flat. A detailed manual was provided which included everything we needed from information on operating appliances to location of nearby pubs. The flat is bright, clean and comfortable on a cute street. The location is fabulous. Kensington Palace is easy to walk to or a 15 minute tube ride puts you in the heart of London.

Well appointed, comfortable and tidy flat with everything you need. Staying in Andrew’s flat was a great experience from start to finish. Andrew was warm and welcoming from the time of booking, very responsive and available for help during my stay, and afterward, with a genuine concern for making the experience a pleasant one. The flat is walking distance to many great places including shops, restaurants, parks, grocery shopping and transportation. I loved the quaint neighborhood and felt safe walking alone there. After staying in the busy, touristy city center, staying here was a nice and quiet juxtaposition to the hustle and bustle. I’m much happier staying in a flat that feels like home versus a hotel, with access to washer, cooking if desired and other comforts. Would book this flat again in a heartbeat. Amazing Flat in Notting Hill
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The location was perfect for getting around on the Underground system or on a bus. But not only was the location great for getting around, it was great for relaxing, sleeping, getting ready! It just felt like you were really a part of city life staying there. Andrew was AMAZING to work with. We got there 2 hours earlier than we had expected and Andrew was there cleaning the place (he did an amazing job too I must say). So he let us drop off our bags and sent us to a little coffee shop around the corner until the flat was ready (which was only half an hour I would say). My husband and I both loved the flat. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed while we were there. The BEST fish and chips we have ever had was at Champion right on the corner and the best Chicken Tikka I have ever had was at Old Swan Pub which was just a short walk. We had an amazing time in London and I loved staying at the flat. If we ever get the chance to come back I would stay there again! Oh, and Andrew has the MOST detailed apartment guide for you when you get t here. He explains how to use and turn on everything in the flat! VERY HELPFUL! Thanks so much!

Beautiful apartment with everything you’ll need in this charming part of London! A++
Staying at Andrew’s flat was such a pleasurable experience! Shortly after making the booking Andrew messaged us a greeting along with a very thorough manual about his flat – anything from details of the inside to what spots to hit up in the neighborhood. There are plenty of charming spots nearby to visit for breakfast and walk around. His flat is in a residential area of Notting Hill about a 5 minute walk to north of Hyde Park and 5-10 minute walk to 1 of the 2 nearest Tube Stations. Upon our early flight arrival to London Andrew was very flexible with our inquiry to check in early as well as flexible with our check out time based on the flat’s existing availability. He is a very welcoming guy who wants the best for his guests. There was also wine, tea, coffee, and a few sweets we got to happily enjoy! Andrew takes really good care of his flat and its cleanliness did not go unnoticed. In fact, it was such a comfortable flat my gf and I decided to cook NYE dinner instead of going out! Definitely recommend staying here based on its charming location and ease of coordinating with Andrew.

Spiffy flat-great location-super convenient to three tub lines-London at your feet
We stayed here for one week in December 2018. Loved the convenience of this flat's location possibly the best I have had on my stays in London. 3 tube lines(Bayswater, Queensway, Notting Hill) less than a couple of blocks away will take you to all the major sights. The flat was super clean, well equipped, everything worked perfectly including the heat and the washer/dryer. We liked the split bath arrangement for additional privacy/convenience. Many good restaurants nearby, Ffiona's on Kensington Church St., 4 Seasons on Queensway, Hafez & Durbar on Hereford Road. The flat was quiet both from neighbors above and street below. The furnishings/bed were comfortable. We are considering coming back next year for another winter stay. Just lovely. Easy access to Hyde Park and Notting Hill shops. +10

Clean, modern and perfect!
Andrew was a fabulous host. Upon arrival, there were chocolates, coffee and tea. He took the time to make sure we were set up perfectly. It had all the amenities one would hope for - tv, WiFi, coffee maker, and modern appliances. The flat was in a super location close to the tube, and there were many great pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend the Champion Pub (great beer selection and amazing fish and chips). An added bonus was Hyde Park was a 5 minutes walk. A wonderful host, a fabulous flat and I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks Andrew for making us feel welcome!

Perfect flat for a London stay!
Staying in the Notting Hill flat was perfect. It is close to tube stations, small great restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores. The flat was well laid out with a comfortable bed, plenty of towels and a well set up small kitchen. His flat manual was well organized for getting acquainted with the unit. Andrew was most helpful getting us familiar with the area and waiting for us after our late arrival. He helped to make our London stay most enjoyable.

After spending all day in crowds siteseeing, it was nice to return to a quiet area to relax. There are several tube stops in walking distance (half mile or less) as well as pubs/eating options. The apartment itself was clean. Andrew was a great host. Would definitely stay here again.
