Overall, a nice apartment in a great location - only a very short walk to Paddington. There is lots of space, a nice modern kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. There are convenience shops and restaurants nearby.
The check-in process was disappointing. There were a lot of emails from the managing agent, and you have to provide a lot more info than if you stay in a hotel (including copies of passports for everyone staying). To get the keys you either have to pay £30 for someone to meet you, or pick them up from the shop up the road. This is fine, but the agent hadn’t actually sent me the code I needed to collect them, so I spent five minutes anxiously standing a shop with my luggage, wondering if I had been scammed.
The main things that affected the stay negatively once I had actually accessed the property were a broken window blind in the bathroom (so get ready to flash the people across the street when you shower!), a broken table (the leg fell off at one point), and there being no fans, so the bedrooms were incredibly hot.
I would stay again for the location, but I would hope these issues would be sorted.
