The hosts (Nick and Malgosia) were excellent - responded quickly to our questions, checked in via text, and offered wonderful suggestions, such as the river cruise from Kew Pier, Ravenscourt Park and the What the Fish eatery. The property was clean, well-kept, and functioned properly. The extras they provided, such as water and juice, were a welcomed touch, as well as the charging plugs for electronic devices. The location was close to restaurants and grocery stores.
Because the property was located just steps from the Tube station, it was close to the tracks. The trains were visible through the back windows, and can definitely be heard. Therefore if you are a light sleeper, be forewarned. The white noise machine that was provided helped to camouflage the noise slightly and the trains only really stopped running for a few hours on one night of our stay.
Please also note that the spiral staircase to the first bedroom can be challenging for any guests with mobility issues.
In summary - great hosts, great location, great place, but a tad too close to the trains for our liking.
