If you are looking for peace, tranquillity, beautiful views in an unspoiled landscape with a rich historical background, look no further!A stay in our houses, nestling in the hills above Londa, a pretty old village about 30km from Florence, will offer you a memorable experience. The house is situated among olive groves and beautiful woodland. The liocation is ideal for a relaxed Holiday with family and friends and also a good starting point to visit the most important cities and towns of Tuscany. The building, an ancient restored farmhouse, has a large entrance hall which leads to the sitting room with fireplace and dining area close to the adjoining kitchen Around the living - sitting room you find the three bedrooms, two doubles and one with twin beds. In the largest double there is a child bed. The property belongs to a large farming estate which includes two smaller properties for rent, with which the pool is shared. But you'll never find it crowded, because it's quite large and put in well-maintained extensive grounds among olive and fruit trees. The farm produces organic wine and oil. Tours of the family oil mill and vineyards are regularly organized in the high season. The property includes a stone-tiled patio just outside the front door with comfortable seating and a quite large garden, all fenced , with beautiful views and a shaded area with table , chairs and barbecue for alfresco meals.

Real Authentic Tuscany
We were a group of seven ladies. We shared two villas. Set high in the mountains, the view was spectacular. Our host, Maria Louisa, was most gracious and took the time to give us the history of the property. So rich in history. The pool was an added bonus. The property was graced with Fig trees, and olive trees and the occasional visit from the local horses. Simply beautiful.

My family, comprising of myself, husband, 2 children aged 8 and 3 and my parents stayed here for a weeks holiday. We had a fantastic week, the property was plenty big enough for all of us . The bedrooms were all a good size as was the lounge. The kitchen was small but with all we needed. The BBQ area was lovely, my kids loved the 2 hammocks and we all loved the hazelnut tree outside. The olive groves were beautiful and shimmered in the sunshine. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, it was not straight outside the house which was good from a safety aspect for my 3 year old, but not as close as we had hoped for. The drive to the house is quite steep and needs a driver who is confident as there are hairpin bends and narrow if you meet another vehicle. The house comes with towels but not pool towels so make sure you pack some. We had a wonderful week, and would recommend it to any family who wants a beautiful setting in a very peaceful location. The olive oil tour is very interesting and worth doing. The only negative points are the pool not being on the doorstep, few light bulbs being missing and no option of a welcome pack to purchase as we arrived in the evening and no shops were open to buy any dinner or breakfast which isn't a great start to a holiday after a day traveling. Overall a brilliant holiday that would suit most people.

Highly Recommend Londa Villa
Our family of 5 adults would highly recommend this. We stayed in La Casacicca, a 500 year old converted barn. It was beautifully renovated. It was very comfortable. Our host MariaLuisa was lovely and very attentive. We did a wine tour with her son which was delightful. After the tour we had a wonderful tasting and delicious food on the grounds of their home. He was a great host and we had so much fun. One night MariaLuisa's sister and brother-in-law cooked us a traditional Tuscan meal. It was delicious and worked out perfectly as my son got engaged that day! The setting of our villa was lovely, the pool refreshing, the views were great and it was so relaxing. Wifi works best by connecting by the pool and then going to the villa. You won't be disappointed!

Very nice for a group trip
Very nice, rustic tuscan house. The view is fantastic and the area around the pool very spacious and perfect for pool days. The nature around the house is beautiful and there are many activities to do. We visited in August so it was very hot during our stay and there is no AC since the house is a relic, which is why we had some very warm nights. Nevertheless it was totally bearable and we would love to come back!

Very lovely little cottage
We had a very pleasant stay. The house is cosy and rustic. It’s is located in the countryside, so it’s a bit of a ride to the next village. The view is stunning and the pool is great! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They are connected to a local organic winery. You should definitely book their tour through the vineyards with food and winetasting! Be prepared for mosquitos and that there is no aircondition. Nights were quite warm inside the house.

Die Seele baumeln lassen
Die Unterkunft ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Der Garten lädt an mehreren Stellen zum verweilen ein. Durch die erhöhte Lage hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht und konnten abends den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Vom Pool hat man einen weiten Blick über die Umgebung. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist passend zum alten Bauernhaus einfach gehalten, wir haben aber alles vorgefunden,was wir benötigten. Nicola hat uns als Gastgeber herzlich empfangen und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Pisa, Florenz und Siena waren 1-2 Stunden entfernt. Es lohnt sich dorthin einen Ausflug zu machen.

Prachtige plek, sfeervol huis.
Genoten van ons verblijf. Heerlijke bedden. Super lekkere douche en het water uit de bron geweldig. De slaapkamers zijn zeer ruim. Maria en familie zijn erg vriendelijk en staan altijd voor je klaar. Enkele kleine aandachtspuntjes, WiFi was niet oké, de eetkamer stoelen zijn aan verbetering toe(zijn wat hard), buiten meubilair is ook erg aan de harde kant en de bijhorende kussens wat dun. Het zou fijn zijn om ook kussens te hebben op de ligstoelen bij het zwembad. Maar het sfeervolle huis en de prachtige plek maakt veel goed.😊

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans la maison 3 chambres et sommes assez mécontents dans l’ensemble. Concernant la situation plutôt satisfaits la vue est très agréable et conforme à l’annonce. Concernant la maison, les accessoires cuisines sont très vieux sales et limités en nombre, (beaucoup de bibelots inutiles) poêles et casseroles très vieilles et abîmées, 6 assiettes plates, 6 assiettes à dessert… Pas de couteau qui coupent et j’en passe… Côté piscine, nous avons été dans l’obligation de râler à plusieurs reprises : piscine ou bassin ? Dimensions : 1,20m de profondeur 5m de largeur et 8m de longueur… très fréquentée par moment nous étions à plus de 20 personnes alors que sur l’annonce ce lieu était réservé à 3 maisons. Le propriétaire nous a précisé qu’ils avaient autorisé de la famille et des amis… il aurait été correct à minima d’être informé avant… Également mauvaise surprise concernant le nombre de moustiques tangs mouche… ce qui a rendu nos baignades et séance de bronzage vraiment très désagréable ce qui a écourté nos séances autour de la piscine. Nous avons été dévisagés par les boutons. Aucun d’échanges avec le propriétaire durant notre séjour, a aucun moment il s’est manifesté de lui meme seuls contacts lors de notre étonnement pour la forte fréquentation autour de la piscine dommage… les photos n’étant pas possible sur ce site nous sommes dispo pour les env si besoin aux futurs clients…

Ein Natur-Paradies!
Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in der Toskana verbracht und besonders den traumhaften Ausblick genossen! Wer abseits vom Touristentrubel Urlaub machen möchte, ist hier genau richtig und die "Toskana-Pflichtziele" wie Florenz (mit dem Zug von Londa super zu erreichen!), Pisa, Lucca und Siena sind mit ein biis zwei Stunden (Auto-)Fahrzeit als Tagesziele auch gut machbar. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern via WhatsApp (oder auch persönlich) ist sehr nett und unsere Bitten/Fragen wurden schnell und unkompliziert geklärt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist eine Weintour mit Tasting (inklusive leckerem Olivenöl) mit Tomaso: Wein als auch Öl werden von den Gastgebern im Familienbetrieb selbst hergestellt (Bio!).

Alptraum in der Toskana
Endlich Urlaub und Entspannung –leider nicht in diesem Haus. Gebucht waren drei Wochen - von Hitze und Mücken geplagt sind wir nach 5 Tagen abgereist. Im Sommer ist das Haus nicht zu empfehlen! In der Darstellung des Objekts sind leider viele Details geschönt oder ausgeblendet: Sitzmöbel (Sofa..) sind abgenutzt und durchgesessen, die Überwürfe vergilbt und fleckig - alles nicht sehr einladend. Bäder sind alt und ebenfalls sehr abgenutzt. Mülleimer waren kaputt, Toilettenbürste von Kot verdreckt. Duschkopf in der Wannne hing herunter - in der Dusche war der Abfluss verstopft. Unter einem Stuhl war Unterwäsche vom Vorgänger – wurde hier geputzt ? Die Küche hatte gemischte Ausstattung, kein Teller passte zusammen, Tassen waren kaputt - wir kauften neue. Pfannen waren verdreckt. Die Matratzen waren durchgelegen – die Einzelbetten waren selbst für unsere Kinder zu schmal. Die Gartenmöbel und Auflagekissen waren teilweise kaputt oder sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool ist 200 Meter entfernt. Es ist ein Aufstellpool - die Holzumrandung benötigt eine Reparatur (Bretter sind gewölbt, aufgerissen). Die Wasserqualität war OK, während des Tages sammeln sich viele Insekten auf der Oberfläche. Die Absaugvorrichtung löste sich ab und zu, der Schmutz lief wieder ins Wasser zurück. Die Liegen waren teilweise kaputt und verschmutzt. Ein Parkplatz existiert nicht, man parkt entweder in einer Hangnische oder an der Landstraße. Wir waren schon oft in Italien, auch im Sommer, auch weiter im Süden - mit einer Temperatur im Haus über 30°C nachts hatten wir allerdings nicht gerechnet. Das Haus wird den ganzen Tag in der Sonne aufgeheizt, die warme Luft staut sich in den hohen Räumen unterm Dach. Ungedämmte Dachfenster ohne Verschattung tragen ihren Teil dazu bei. Die Fenster waren sehr klein und mit einem Insektennetz versehen - so gelanget keine kühle Luft ins Haus. In den Abendstunden kamen die Stechmücken. Wir konnten uns nicht draußen aufhalten, weder zum Essen, noch zum Relaxen und die Aussicht genießen. Auch die Haustür konnten wir nicht zum Durchlüften öffnen. Ventilatoren – Fehlanzeige! Eine entspannte Nachtruhe war nicht möglich. Auch die Nachbarhunde bellten ständig. An 2 von 5 Tagen hatten wir kein Internet. Heutzutage nicht annehmbar. Steckdosen waren defekt. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert. Für das Gebotene zu teuer. Bitte mal ein paar € investieren. Fotoupload ist leider nicht möglich.

Tolles Toskanisches Haus in einer unbeschreibliche Umgebung
Wir haben das gemütliche Ambiente vor einer tollen Naturkulisse sehr genossen... Der Pool war super und die Nähe zu vielen kulturellen Höhepunkten und jeder Menge Weingüter haben den Urlaub zu einem unvergleichlichen Erlebnis gemacht

Die Woche in der Wohnung ging leider viel zu schnell vorbei. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung in einem schönen rustikalen Landhaus sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Super Aussicht auf die Berge inklusiv Sonnenuntergang. Nette Gastgeber, die auch gerne den dort angebauten Wein vor die Tür liefern. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Entschleunigung und Genuß
Das historische Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet, der gemeinsame Pool mit ausgedehnter Wiese im Olivenhain lädt zum Sonnenbaden ein. Das Anwesen befindet sich in einem dünn besiedelten, bewaldeten Tal. Florenz ist 40 km, Siena etwa 100 km entfernt. Das WLAN ist leider nicht immer stabil. Trotzdem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Ruhige Auszeit und Erholung in der Natur - kontaktarm - zu Coranazeiten - sehr zu empfehlen!
Wir haben das über 500 Jahre alte Bauernhaus mit 3 Schlafzimmern auch zu zweit sehr genossen, obwohl es 150m2 hat. Wir hatten im September 2020 traumhaftes Wetter, sodass wir die meiste Zeit draußen verbrachten - entweder auf dem Grundstück des Schwimmingpools (ca 2 min zu Fuß vom Haus auf dem Anwesen, das aus 4 Häusern besteht), wo es auch immer sehr ruhig und erholsam war und man gutes W-Lan hatte, oder auf dem Grundstück des Hauses, das zwei Hängematten hat, einen großen Essgartentisch mit Grill, der bereits bei Ankunft schon ausgestattet war mit Grillkohle und Utensilien, und eine gemütliche Sofasitzecke neben der Eingangstür. So konnte man immer wieder wechseln. Sehr schön ist auch die Gartenbank mit Blick in die Ferne (Bergwelt der Toskana). Die Vermieterin, Maria Luisa, die hervorragend englisch spricht, ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie ist unaufdringlich und man fühlt sich zu keiner Zeit gestört, aber immer sicher, falls etwas Unvorhergesehnes passiert. Zu Coronazeiten hatten wir keine Kontakte mit anderen Menschen auf dem Anwesen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt (Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier, Seife etc.) - die Vermieter sind diesbezüglich sehr vorausschauend, da man als Mieter schon mehrmals überlegt, ob man wegen einer Kleinigkeit die 6-7 km Weg (teilweise sehr kurvenreiche und enge Strasse) den Weg nach Londa hinunterfährt. Die Natur lädt zum Wandern ein. Wir haben mehrere Kühe, zwei Schweine, Esel und Pferde näher kennengelernt. Das Internet/ W-Lan funktioniert bestens im ganzen Haus. Im Garten funktioniert es nur im Eingangsbereich und nicht am Ende des Gartens, aber im Poolbereich funktioniert es bestens. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt während der 2 Wochen. Ganz besonders haben wir das Lesen in den Hängematten unter den Lindenbäumen genossen! Wer genug Vorrat mitbringt (großer Kühlschrank mit größerem Gefrierfach ist vorhanden), kann es dort prima aushalten. Natürlich bietet sich der Standort aber auch zu schönen Tagesausflügen in die Städte Florenz, Pisa, Lucca, Greve im Chianti, Viareggio, Livorno, San Gimignano etc. an. Wir wären gern noch länger geblieben! Nirgendwo haben wir uns besser erholt zuvor.

Prachtige natuurlijke rust
We hadden een geweldige tijd in dit (500jaar oude) huis. Heel authentiek en midden in de Toscaanse natuur . Wel een hele weg af te leggen om het huisje te Bereiken maar zeker de moeite waard ! Mooi proper zwembad . Verwacht geen toeristische resto’s / attracties ik de buurt . Hier kom je voor de rust !

Une première en Italie
Maison et cadre idéal pour la famille, isolée dans la montagne avec une vue splendide. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le train de la gare de Londa pour visiter la Toscane. Merci à Maria Luisa et sa famille pour cette découverte de la Toscane.
