"We were told check-in was at 2 o’clock, but when we arrived after 3 PM, our room is not ready. We waited in the lobby for 30 minutes for our room to be prepared. Once in the room, it was incredibly tiny sitting on the bed you could touch all three walls! The location is right next to the highway so there is constant traffic all night. Significant, more than 3 km to town. It would be much better hotel for people on route and not wanting to experience Quaint town of Verdome. "

"When we first saw the photos we went “wow” but when we saw it for real we were even more impressed! The Chateau and it’s surroundings are truly breathtaking and the owners are doing a great job renovating and making improvements. The pool area in the converted orangerie is a great example. There were two toilets, a shower and a small kitchen and large dining area. Lots of room to spend all day at the pool. Inside the Chateau the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. There was even a laundry room - which was handy as we were a family of 9 on this trip. If you have someone who is disabled or struggles with stairs then the downstairs bedroom and en-suite were fantastic. Overall we had a great time, including lots of great meals in the lovely dining area. Many thanks for your hospitality, Marina and Phillipe!"
