ADDITIONAL RULES:
○ By booking this property, you are agreeing to sign our rental contract & provide your email address after booking so we can send you our rental contract.
○ Upon booking you are also agreeing to providing your photo ID and completing our screening process through Safely.
○ Minimum age of primary renter: 30
○ Quiet hours go into effect at 9:00 pm, No amplified noise or musical instruments outside.
○ Parking is limited to 6 cars in the driveway at the property.
○ Standard occupancy is 14 guests, and maximum occupancy is 18 guests. Each guest exceeding the standard occupancy will be charged an additional guest fee of $30/night per guest per night.
○ Up to 2 dogs allowed for an additional fee with prior approval.
○ Renter shall not store/park any trailer, boat, mobile home, RV, camper, machinery, equipment, or commercial vehicle on the driveway or street.
○ Early check-in/late check-out may be available upon request for an additional charge. Written approval is required.
○ For bookings made within 48 hours of check-in, we do our best to accommodate regular check-in time of 4pm but it could be as late as 6pm.
○ Pool is only operational from May 1st to October 31st.

Great Pool!
Had a great weekend getaway with family before youngest son goes to Navy. The grandkids and adults enjoyed the pool! It was perfect size for our group and was the center of activities. There were gnats and flies that were in the house from (my guess the people before us) but that’s through no fault of the property or property owners.

Incredible stay in every way
We booked the house for a family getaway for 3 families and it did not disappoint. Check-in was smooth. We heard from them about 2 days prior. A little sooner check in would have been nice to help give us more time to plan and pack. Some things were missing at check-in, but communication was great and the items showed up right away. There were lots of kitchen appliances, and I wish I could upload a picture to help others plan. They did have an electric skillet and we brought one too, so that was great for making bacon and pancakes for the big group. Bedrooms were great, beds were so very comfortable, and the bathrooms were all beautiful (bring your shampoo) Very well decorated and loved all the tile. Blowup mattresses and pool towels were provided, but bring more towels. The pictures show all the amenities, and they were as expected and so much fun. The guest house was great for the teens and there were lots of games inside and out. Mini Golf seemed to be in the works, but not complete while we were there. Pickleball was great - bring your own paddles. The ice maker never worked, so I would definitely recommend that they either purchase an ice maker or get the freezer fixed. There is no place close to get ice, so someone always had to stop when we went hiking. Hiking spots are at least 20 minutes away. We all had a great time and would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. The place is incredible and we had no complaints. Great service and beautiful place.

Accurate listing
This place is huge with multiple bedrooms with comfortable beds, 3 washers and dryers. We didn't even use two of the living rooms or dining rooms. Ate all of our meals outside under the huge pavilion. My family enjoyed the warm pool, the well constructed playground and all the sports equipment. Definitely would stay there again,

Exceptional Property with Tons to Do!
A really beautiful and relaxing property. We had a team off-site meeting and this place was perfect for us to meet comfortably and enjoy all of the fun amenities (e.g., pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, a pool table, etc.) Also, it is a short drive to a ton of great hiking and outdoor activities. This would be an amazing property for a group of friends or family reunion. The host was very responsive and worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. You can't go wrong with this place!

Perfect for Families
Our family enjoyed a wonderful post-Christmas stay at “the castle”. The proptery is amazing! The bedrooms were perfectly appointed- roomy, nice bedding, good layout with bathrooms for all, including tub for the littles. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, which we did for most of our time there. TV’s all a round, adjacent game building provided lots to do, not to mention the outside amenities. Pickleball court was a big hit! The only thing I can think to add hooks in the main floor bedroom. These would be very helpful for showering and dressing as the bathroom is on the smaller side and there is no closet. Great property, great stay!

Amazing property overall. Beautiful decor and well-maintained property with all the amenities. We enjoyed the basketball and pickleball courts, with the outdoor kitchen being a huge plus. Nine of us stayed in a fall weekend and didn't even need the guest house, save a few rounds of old school Mortal Kombat and rounds of pool. It was the perfect home base for hiking on days we wanted to get out, and hanging out on the property for the days we didn't. Didn't have access to the pool given the time of year but we will be back next time we are need to stay in the area. Thanks to Andrea for the great comms and coordination!

Friends Getaway
This home was perfect! There’s no need to leave the property as all the activities are located on site. 4 families and all our kids (9 kids total) stayed comfortably. They loved the arcade at night and the outdoor activities during the day. The fire pit was great to sit around at night and the outdoor space/grill was phenomenal to prep dinner and eat. We all loved the decor. The property is about 15 min from the caves. The property is private and well kept. We would stay again.

Holiday at the Castle
I am having difficulty rating the accuracy of the online listing. More transparency about added fees needs to be upfront. However, my family had a fabulous time. The kitchen was so well stocked for the varied palates that we bring. The outdoor amenities were fabulous for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Andrea was so helpful in troubleshooting any challenges that surfaced. Location was perfect for those of us living in Columbus, Ohio. The pavilion was perfect for all of the adults to gather in the evening, catch up with each other and star gaze.

Great Property, Better for Bigger Kids
I wanted to start out by saying this property was beautiful. The decorations were amazing and they had everything you could need. My only complaint was the grounds were not actually "10 acres" for our littles to run around on. The way that the property is set up, every thing in the backyard is very close to the house. It is not spaced out at all. I would say it is maybe 3 total acres of land up by the house. The house sits up on top of a hill (which maybe is where the other acres come into play). You can also see other properties from the front of the house, which was something I did not think would occur with it being on 10 acres. Having the game room in a separate location (not connected at all to the other house) was a little difficult with younger kids as well. We had 15 people, including 7 little kids.. so the fridge space was very tight since there was only one fridge in the main house. The other fridge was upstairs in the game room suite (but no fridge in the game room or outside). Overall, the house was amazing, but the little kids could not use the games and didn't have the amount of land we thought to run around on. If you have kids ages 10+, this house has it all! The communication was perfect and the property owners were amazing!!

A family vacation in Hocking Hills for a week
The home was beautifully decorated and worked very well for our 4 families. Each adult couple had on-suite bedrooms. The amenities on site were great and the adults and kids put them all to good use. We all had a great time.

Overall great property
We had a great few days with friends at the Castle. There was plenty for all ages to do to help keep us entertained. The house was beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The only issue we had was the pool heater and pump were not functioning properly. Property Manager and pool company were very responsive. They understood the problem and seemed to have a fix, however the pool was not always warm. This should not affect future renters though.

We stayed at Hocking Hills Castle over the 4th of July holiday. When they say they have everything you need, they are not exaggerating!! If you forget something, don’t worry, it’s there!! Andrea is the property manager we worked with and she was excellent at communicating with us! The property has wonderful outdoor activities and places to just sit and relax! We highly recommend this property for the perfect family getaway!!

My family loved staying at this property. My kids and parents thought this was the best vacation.
You don’t even understand the beauty of this home until you drive up the driveway, and see it sitting on top of the hill. This property has every single amenity we didn’t have to bring anything. The home is cozy and yet has more than enough space for everyone in the party. Every room was brand new, fresh and modern. The beds were better than home. The bathrooms were very much spa like. We woke up to a picturesque sun rise over looking hocking hills. The kids enjoyed the game room and fire pit. One night we used the smoker for dinner and had a great family dinner. So much shopping very near by. None of us wanted to leave. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the outdoor pool. A must vacation for anyone.
