Blue Rose Cabins - Pinecrest Cabin

Nice comfortable cabin that sleeps four with one private bedroom downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. This cabin has a gas log fireplace, kitchen, hot tub, grill, firepit, wifi and DirecTV. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.

Nice quiet cottage, safe and roomy. Road up to the cabin tricky. Uneven gravel, stone which requires slow speed . Very cozy and nice otherwise.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. It was perfect!
overall, the cabin was very clean and spacious. the tv set was updated compared to the picture so that was nice. It was the ideal cabin for a couple or a small family. however we did notice the hot tub likely wasn’t properly cleaned but only needed a skim an a chlorine tablet.

Pinecrest Cabin
This is a great cabin! We only stayed the one night after the train ride, so we didn't really do much. We didn't use the hot tub - but it was on and hot. We didn't watch TV. But we did enjoy the fireplace!! Very nice - we'll be back!

We can get away
So are we can get away was very nice, the cabin was very clean my wife thought it was adorable a couple recommendations for the owners would be to put TVs in the bedrooms, update the the dressers and the hangers were slightly tacky or sticky also the dishes were kind of mismatched, very little cell service but on the upside the hot tub was absolutely great, so overall we had an awesome weekend highly recommend.

The hot tub was nice but all the jets didn’t seem to work. The kitchen appliances were dirty from previous visitors, and were rusty from age. The bathroom seemed as if it doesn’t get cleaned. Finally the beds are very uncomfortable. The price for this stay is twice as much as it should be.

Besides the accommodations on the property being slightly older, the stay was all around decent. Only issue was I had no clue on check in and check out besides a laminated paper telling us what to do for check out which was just tidying up the stuff we had used during the stay and to place key back where we found it. There was no instruction on where to go for check in so to this day I’m unaware of where or how we were supposed to get checked in even if that was an option given the key inside the lockbox was already unlocked upon our arrival.

Great stay
First we ranked communication with property manager as medium but it should be an NA...we had no need to contact them. There is a weird "junk yard" property as yiu first turn on road that kind of makes you reconsider your decision to stay in the area, but past that the cabin was cute and the hot tub and fore place were amazing! Great job on putting lattice up so you can enjoy the hot tub even in cold weather! Could use a new kitchen counter top and some small tables by the bed, but nothing that would stop us from staying her again. It is also less then 15 minutes to town "Walmart" and to waterfalls and trails.

It was all fine except the pillows were dirty and had hair on them and there was dust and a bottle cap on the floor. The pictures arent up to date. Tried to email the owners about it and got no response.

Not well maintained, over priced.
Price tag way too high. Cabin maintenance indoor and outdoor very neglected. Property is part of a company that has not seen a need to update bathroom, kitchen areas. Mediocre cleaning at best. Towels provided were worn out. Severely over chlorinated hot tub, burned eyes and nose. Lid for tub was worn out, difficult to remove for use and put back on, especially given placement of tub. Property was at one time worth the price, but they need to show it some love!

We were expecting “rustic”. We didn’t need marble countertops or stainless steel appliances. But generally, people staying in this area are planning some physical activity like hiking. It’s hard to get moving when you can’t sleep, hips are on fire, and you have a migraine due to how poor the beds are. The couches and chairs sag. And there is only so much housekeepers can do with rugs - eventually they need deep cleaning or replacement. Could be a decent place with replacement of furniture, mattress, and rugs every so often.

Decent place, not taken care of and hard to get a hold of management company
The cabin was decent overall, but the floor was dirty right when we got there we vacuumed the carpet. The curtain was down on the backdoor. When your sleeping, someone could almost look in at you. The hot tub was dirty on arrival, when we got a hold of the management company finally on the following day, they said it could be from well water. Well water can't make a hot tub appear filthy dirty and have white floaty things on top. We never saw anyone come service the tub nor heard back from them and the hot tub was the same the following night when we returned. We actually tightened up the back door knob. It was super loose and you could hardly turn it. We enjoyed our trip, just think the management company should take more care of their cabins and clean them better.
