"We had to stay in town while our plumbing was being repaired and I really liked liked this property. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to use. I wish there were more than four plates, bowls, etc since it felt like you had to wash them after each use. The second bed is in the basement area down the spiral staircase, and not super private."

"Check in was easy as can be and the location is beautiful. The barn apartment was perfect for a quick stay during the Holiday weekend. If you enjoy peace and quiet and rolling pastures full of horses I can’t recommend this enough. "

"It was wonderful to be able to get up in the morning and walk downstairs to get a great cup of coffee to start my day (although a coffee-maker is provided in the apartment as well, so the walk down isn't necessary). Apartment was very pleasant and the parking spot convenient. The only downside is the fact that it is right across the street from the train depot...bring a pair of good earplugs and you'll be good to go."

"This was a really unique find, right near downtown area. So many great shops and lovely park area. We even took the train, that was just a couple blocks away, into DC for the day! Mind you, the sound of the trains can be heard, but didn't disturb me. I actually enjoyed listening to them. My bed was very, very comfortable and was very pleased with everything offered. The host was quick to respond and very helpful!"

"I had a very nice week visiting family. The basement apt. was very clean and comfortable. The only difficulty was on street parking in a crowded neighborhood however, I never had to park more than a block away from the property. "Beautiful cabins, I wish a longer stay would have been planned. You need at least 3 days here to enjoy the activities and view—outside the cabin. Each cabin looked and smelled of new wood and had VERY clean interiors. Everyone from the phone staff to the security were friendly and personable. Better and cheaper than any hotel I’ve stayed at this year. Coming here again as soon as I can"
