"The cottage is very well thought out and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, as we could walk to restaurants and cafes and the gallery and other attractions. We had a few issues during our stay but Sue was super responsive and did all she could to remedy as quickly as possible."

"Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."

"On arrival after a 7 hour drive we opened the door of this quaint hideaway and were frozen by the chill factor. The split reverse cycle heater was of little help in warming the space and the wood fire was wood free. After a trip into Castlemaine we returned with 15kg of wood, fire starters and kindling at a cost of $40.
