Gorgeous house
The Factor’s house is a beautifully maintained, & well proportioned large house about 25 mins walk from Kilmartin village. The decoration and soft furnishings are tasteful and well chosen to suit the ambience of this late 19th century structure. Huge kitchen is very well equipped with large dining table and still loads 9f room and the main living room is lovely and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay; peaceful and very relaxing.

This is a beautiful spacious house in a rural location soaked in history.
This is a beautiful spacious house in a rural location soaked in history. There are wonderful local walks to see ancient sites, woodlands and the Argyll coast. It’s a lovely place to rest and unwind. The house has functional shutters so it is ideal for a good nights sleep. The house could easily accommodate 10 guests. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A quiet & fantastic week off!
We loved it from the very first moment. Location is top (giving you the best chance to explore the Kyntare peninsula) & the house splendid. You can relax so much you would think you can even hear the silence. We enjoyed every bit of it! Totally recommendable for families.

A fantastic house and grounds.
A fantastic house and grounds. Location great if you want to get away from it all. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Only gripe is additional charge for gas. I would expect hot water to be included in rental price. There was no need for us to use the central heating so gas used was for showering and washing pots only. Oh my goodness what a beautiful house.
Oh my goodness what a beautiful house. We felt very privileged to be staying at the factors house. This was an alternative to our original booking and we was very pleased with our choice. The photographs online were lovely and a true account of what we found on arrival. However we were totally surprised at the size of the rooms. The accommodation is perfect for large family groups. The kitchen is very well equipped and the accommodation very comfortable. The location was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The owner was very polite and knowledgeable about the history of the property and helpful when we had any problems.

what a beautifull location is the factors house.
what a beautifull location is the factors house. The house is really complete and no hidden costs. The house is big, comfortable and have a very nice play area around the house for little children. We really enjoyed our holiday in the house. To little points to get better: WIFI is bad and a little bit more attention to the paintingswork of the house will be good. But this two points do not have any bad influence on our holiday! one word: fantastic.

We had a lovely week in the house.
We had a lovely week in the house.... very well equipped. The location was selected as we wanted to do some travelling around and go to The Isle Araan and Mull... we did manage to get to both. The location was lovely and peaceful... just what we needed. Unfortunately the shop in the village has shut down so we had to pick up essential items whilst out and about. Would definitely recommend... get place!!
