It was great to have a spot where we could cook for ourselves, but also have plenty of recommendations for meals out. The listing is exactly as described, with two flights of narrow stairs to navogate - we were fine with our two roller soluitcases and backpacks. "This is a lovely apartment, run by Johanna who is a very lovely host, with a lovely family. We stay 2 weeks of a heat wave, and enjoyed mixing the garden and swimming pool for several days. If it were cooler, then the indoor swimming pool is also perfect, together with hot tub. The property sits in beautiful wine country, a short journey from the River Cher where bicycles and kayaks can be hired. "Eric was a great host! I had everything I needed. The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked. If was centrally located— a short walk to restaurants and shops in downtown, and Château d’Amboise and Chateau du Clos Luce. A perfect place! I would absolutely recommend Eric’s quaint place! "

"The kitchen was well supplied and our host was very generous! The space was larger than the pictures suggested. The nearby town was a quaint stop…the road to the larger town with its grocery story (Carrefour)and patisserie (Paul) was extremely pretty."

"The studio and Amboise were a great hub for exploring chateaus and wineries in the Loire valley. Situated across the river from town, a step outside the studio offers stunning views--especially at night. Our gracious hosts were there to warmly welcome us and provide insights on local attractions. A butcher and bakery are conveniently located across the street and are well worth a visit.
