Lakeside Beach House - Child & Dog Friendly

A little Loch Sport love story:

4 years ago we found a beautiful placed called Loch Sport, looking for a quiet place to take our dogs and relax. We tried a few different beachside destinations but nothing compared to Loch Sport. 12 months later we bought our beautiful beach house right on Lake Victoria and we have decided to share this idyllic place with others, in the hope that you have the same experience as us and truly fall in love with Loch Sport.

The location of our house is perfect, with our back gate leading onto a pathway directly to Lake Victoria. The wildlife is abundant - a variety of birds and kangaroos in the backyard, swans on the lake and fish & crabs can be spotted in the water. We are a short less than 10 minute drive to 90 Mile Beach that boasts endless pristine sand and waves.

We always take our dogs so please bring your furry friends with you!

The property is less than 5km's to the main street in Loch Sport where there is an IGA, cafe, children's park, BBQ area, skate park and fish & chip shop. There is also a Pub at the Marina that offers restaurant meals. Sale is a 35 minute drive if you feel you need something that can't be found in Loch Sport :)

We recently connected to broadband so you can access free WIFI to stay in touch, watch some movies or just leave it all behind. We have one main TV in the lounge room as well as a second TV and DVD player in the bedroom with a very large collection of DVD's. We also have lots of books as well as games & puzzles.

Life is so stressful and fast paced these days, Loch Sport is the perfect place to put that all behind you for a break.

- Large veranda boasting beautiful Lake Victoria views.

- Open plan living upstairs that includes lounge area, small dining space and a fully appointed kitchen with cooking utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric stove that leads out to a large veranda with a BBQ for cooking under the stars.

- Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided on arrival.

- The main area of the house, upstairs, has 3 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each room, main bathroom with separate toilet . There is also a spare single mattress.
- There is an extra toilet and shower downstairs in the laundry.
- Split system heating/cooling available in the main living area, with portable electric heaters available in lounge room and bedrooms as well.

- Ceiling fans in every bedroom as well as the lounge room.

- Free WIFI

- All linen and towels are supplied just need to bring your own beach towels and hair drier. .

- Front load washing machine provided and clothes line on the property.

- Abundant collection of games, books, puzzles and a DVD collection.

Strictly NO smoking on the property.

Lovely place!
Don’t look past this place, such a great location and there’s plenty of room even if it’s only the top story you can access bar the laundry. Will be going here again, highly recommend! The hosts were so easy going with everything

An Oasis
The property was perfect. Very beachy with everything you could possibly need. A short walk to some fabulous little beaches which our pooch loved. We’re keen to return to do more of nothing!

Such a lovely weekend away, the property was clean and welcoming with everything provided for.
A lovely homely holiday house, central to everything, easy access to the beach via a gate that opens on to the walking trail. We took our 2 pups who loved exploring the fully fenced secure back yard and walks along the beach. The house is well catered for with everything you need for a great holiday.

Perfect Loch Sport Location
We loved our stay here in Loch Sport over 5 nights. The location was ideal being in a court and with direct access to the lakeside track for a short walk to the lake or for a walk/run in either direction. Very pet friendly too being fully fenced and our kelpie loved the dog bed! It had everything we needed - plenty of towels, lovely linen, comfortable beds, coffee machine with coffee beans, ample insect repellent, some interesting teas, and was all so very clean. We'd definitely stay here again if visiting Loch Sport.

Perfect location for relaxation!
Perfect hidden gem in a great location to just unwind and relax. Very close to the lake which has walking tracks along the beach in both directions. The house was well stocked, especially with tea and coffee! Super clean with a cozy bed for our dog. Can’t wait to return again soon. Thank you for having us.

Absolutely love!
This is the third time staying at this beach house. Love the location, the comfy house, and the serenity of the quiet town. This is the perfect place to enjoy in winter sitting on the beach rugged up to watch the sunset over the water and then warming up inside. Everything you may need is supplied. Such a picturesque town to enjoy. Hope to go again next year.

Second stay- just as delightful!
Once again, a most fabulous time was had by all-2ad, 15 & 10 year old and Drax and Luffy our Staffies. The house really does feel like our home, so well appointed and with all the comforts. We all enjoyed walkies at the lake and sunsets, 90 mile beach just down the road and the skate park was enjoyed by the kids on their scooters. We also had a blast having night time flashlight walks and enjoyed seeing all the kangaroos- and even a rabbit! Thanks again for a brilliant getaway- highly recommend this home and lovely couple, great landlords! 😊

We stayed at Carolyn and Pete's property for two nights. the house was sparkling clean with plenty of supplies. The coffee machine was a cherry on cake, the location is perfect. Best location-beautiful house
We had the most fantastic trip here for Easter. Everything in the world that you need & a stones throw from the lake! The garden at the back is bushy (best easter egg hunt of my kids life) & we saw a kangeroo just hopping along the path! Super secure for our ratbag terrier. House has super spacious bedrooms with themed duvets which my kids adored. Great wifi for us and dvds for when the kids were wrecked. Shower fantastic for a water saving head. Though we dont drink coffee we were impressed there was a proper coffee machine there! The best holiday weve been on in years-thank you!

Loved our stay
This place felt like home with all the little extras, and the dogs were very happy too. We walked along the path for dinner which wasn't as far as we expected. The environment is special, especially heading out to the beach over the lakes. Loch Sport is a great place for families with the safe lake beaches. We were prepared for the sandflies and mozzies, but at this property they were not as bad as expected and there were plenty of repellents supplied. We will most definitely be back.
