"There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "

"We were two couples and loved that it has two bathrooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning, washer and dryer, and beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. Grocery stores are close as well as the Grand Piazza. We were lucky to be there for the outdoor music festival called Moon and Stars. Great food, and people. Not alot of English speaking people, but our phone translator worked great. We fell in love with Locarno and this condo."

"The penthouse terrace makes this place. The view is stunning, Lago Maggiore simply beautiful. We had a great time at Residenza Vivian. Locarno Center was just a few minutes walk. The apartment had everything needed and communication with the host was seamless. We really enjoyed our time. Thank you."

"Wir waren mit Freunden für 4 Nächte in dem Häuschen untergebracht und waren alle begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr schön dekoriert, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wenn etwas nicht vorhanden ist kann alles in Locarno (10km bergab) gekauft werden. Ascona ist auch eine sehenswerte Stadt die man unbedingt besuchen muss, wenn man dort ist. Am "Hausberg" gibt es tolle Wanderwege die zu wunderschönen Aussichtsplattformen führen (im Haus gibt es Wander-/Fahrradkarten). Wir wussten einmal...

"The apartment is comfortable and the staff was very insistent that the place be cleaned very well before we stay there. Location is good, near the lake. There is no AC but a large fan was provided which was nice."

"We stayed in 703A, a 3 bedroom penthouse apartment on the 7th floor of a modern block overlooking the lake.The property is massive and has three outdoor terraces. Three bathrooms, all absolutely spotless and pristine. Huge kitchen with eye level double oven, central island, wine fridge etc and all opening on to the open plan dining area and lounge with access on to the main terrace. "We had an amazing extended weekend at this location. The place was great for our family of 6. It might be mentioned in the description, however the only item I was missing was shampoo & conditioner. I thought it would be included but it wasn’t. My kids brought some so it worked out. The views of the lake are beautiful!!"

"My wife and I stayed for several days at this lovely property with an impeccable view of the lake. The apartment was bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a bus line that runs by the front of the apartment, but we found it useful to have a car given the events we had planned during our stay. The apartment is close to the local town and it's easy to pick up groceries, drinks, etc. We would stay here again."

"Sehr sauber. Schön eingerichtet. Praktische Küche. Kaffeemaschine hätte Kapseln von Tschibo gebraucht. Kein Mixer in der Küche vorhanden. Sogar eigene Waschmaschine. Sonniger Balkon, jedoch ohne Seesicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. "What a magnificent place to stay! The room was very nice and comfortable! The staff went above and beyond and made me feel welcome. The hotel also provided me a bus pass to assist in my journey of exploring the local area. They had a free breakfast which was incredible! I can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel was and I would definitely stay there again. "

"Parking is a NIGHTMARE and the staff was rude about helping us figure out parking. They should really have a link that clearly tells people there is NO PARKING at the hotel and where the parking lots are located. (We had to walk .8 of a mile with our luggage which was totally unacceptable for how much we paid per night! They should have at least told us we could drive up and drop our luggage.) The room was big, clean and had a great view. The coffee maker was nice, but instructions in English would have been super helpful (or even a QR code on how to use it)! The bathroom lighting was the worst we have had in all of our stays in Europe. "
