"The week spent at the castle was a fantastic family holiday . It was lovely to cook in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy meals together.There is so much room to spread out if you would rather some alone time .The host Karl very kindly put up a Christmas tree which was very special.The local township is beautiful and only 1 hour drive and you are surrounded by beautiful snow covered mountains and ski resorts.Car parking is below castle and the walk up is a good 15 minutes of steep uneven...

"The sofa bed was so uncomfortable is was impossible to sleep for more than a few minutes at a time and as soon as I sat on it, the arm fell off, having been glued back on many times. On our last morning there was no hot water available so a day of travelling home with no shower. Reported to the venue but no response."

"I had a very comfortable stay in this apartment located on the 13th floor which has a lovely view towards Solaise and the main part of Val d'Isere. The apartment had everything required to self cater including a 4-ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, small cooker, a very large fridge freezer and many other kitchen conveniences. It's possible to ski back to the door close to the ski locker. It's a short walk from the ski locker to the gondola, the funival or the train rouge bus stop. Madame Bouvet...
