Casa Menut is a Rustic cottage set in the heart of the Spanish village, Lliber which is in the Jalon Valley. Beautiful views across the vineyards. It is a stunning place to relax or be as active as you wish.
This 150-year-old cottage is situated off the Main Plaza in the friendly Spanish village of Lliber in the Jalon Valley. Here you can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains and valley. Situated in the heart of the village you will hear the chimes from the beautiful village church clock. The cottage is within easy reach of the charming village of Jalon. You can enjoy many mountain walks and numerous cycling adventures and is only a 20-minute drive from sandy beaches that are ideal for children and those relaxing days by the sea.
This cottage has a south-facing tiled terrace, which comprises of a lemon tree and wooden outdoor furniture, seating up to 4 people. There is also a Weber charcoal BBQ for those glorious evenings sitting outside relaxing after a day's exploring. There is a small terrace on the first floor where you can enjoy the amazing views of the Jalon Valley whilst watching the sun go down after a day of cycling, walking or just lazing on the beach.
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor sleeping up to 4 people. As you go up the stairs from the lounge you directly enter the master bedroom. The Master bedroom consists of a double bed, a built-in wardrobe and a seating area to take in the stunning views across the valley. Off the master bedroom is the second bedroom, which has two single beds and a built-in wardrobe. The large bathroom is next to the bedroom. In the bathroom you have a bath/shower, one basin and a toilet. Downstairs in the living area, you have a large chaise longue sofa and television. Go up two steps and you are in the dining room, which has a wooden round table and 4 chairs. The kitchen has all electrical items including a washing machine, microwave oven, gas hob and electric oven.
There is a shed where you can store your bike and then make the most of the mountain biking or road biking Lliber and The Jalon Valley has to offer.
Being in the heart of the village you can enjoy the local bars, butchers, hairdressers, pharmacy and shop.
The cottage benefits from Fibre optic WIFI smart TV, and ceiling fans in all rooms except the second bedroom where floor fans are available. All rooms have electric heaters. Dogs are welcome to enjoy your holiday too.
A Car is not essential if you wish to stay in the valley during your holiday, as there is a local minibus service from Alicante Airport called Beni-connect, which drops and picks up from Lliber. If you have a hire car there is a village car park available 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
Baby equipment is available on request also games and toys.
Casa Menut is rented out as a whole property. All indoor and outdoor areas are to be used.
During the Middle of August, Lliber celebrates their village Fiestas. Please be advised during this time the fiestas are celebrated with lots of late-night music
Due to Local Laws, I require a photo ID of all over 14s and the email address of the lead person. This is so we can register you as the same as if booking into a hotel.
SES is a Spanish governmental organization ran by the Spanish Ministry of Interior. In accordance with The following data is required from all guests (including children) staying in authorised rental accommodation in Spain. This is regardless of nationality i.e. Spanish travellers must adhere to this decree.
The data collected by us and sent ONLY to the SES is as follows:
1. Guest Full Name
2. Home residential address
3. Email Address
4. Password or ID details
We do not share the data with anyone other than the SES Hospedajes.
This data is securely collected by our systems, encrypted until the day you arrive and then sent to the SES. Once this has been processed it is stored digitally for 3 years again, as per the Royal Decree.
This has been the law since 1974 so, if you have travelled to Spain and stayed in a private dwelling and not been asked to register yourselves, you have actually stayed illegally and the owner of the property may have been subject to heavy fines if any situation involving the police were to occur.
You may recall, if you have stayed in a Spanish hotel previously, you will have had to provide the same information on check-in at reception. This is the same law being implemented in a hotel setting.
