"I went there to find peace and tranquillity and found it in spades. Lovely clean and well appointed cottage, nothing you need has been forgotten and if it isn't there you don't need it. Beautiful valley side setting with veiws and Red Kites flying over. My only regret is i wasn't there long enough but now I've found it i will return."

"This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars. All in all nice location, at least set back somewhat from the road and a since creek running right next to the property. Slight mildew smell, which could be fixed by a dehumidifier. Kitchen was modern and pleasant to use with a small hotel fridge."
