"We only had a few nights at the Motor House, while we attended to some business locally, but would have liked to stay longer! Absolutely splendid accommodation. Lots of space, beautifully set out with everything you might need. Beautiful location too. Very quiet with great views all round."

"We were pleasantly surprised as wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Everything was as promised, room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Little extras such as magnifying mirror, room spray and to go breakfast. Really would recommend and we would certainly stay again but for longer. Really lovely little gem! "

"This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites. "Great secure location for dogs, Peaceful in the evenings. Took two Huskies who like to be the leaders of other dogs and they got on well with their dogs too. Ragland Castle is worth a visit. Chepstow castle was a bit disappointing, rude reception women and half of it was closed for repairs with no mention by the reception women."

"This cottage feels like a well loved home rather than a holiday rental. We all loved it too! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us- all the rooms are spacious and full of character. "Coralie was a great host. The building is lovely, great communal area and sociable kitchen space. Beds were very comfy. The oven is slower which wasn’t listed till we got a welcome pdf so Christmas was a lot slower- but certainly wouldn’t stop us going again. There were plenty of showers and loos. Coralie left a few decorations up which was appreciated .the house had everything we needed- an abundance of cookware/plates and mugs.. "

Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again."
