"The hotel is not nice and have no installations to properly receive people.. yet the area is beautiful and the hotel is a good deal for día de los muertos as it is the cheapest and in a not so remote area. Actually la reforma looks like an amazing neighborhood if you are looking for a long stay in Oaxaca (1 month or more) as it is safe and nearby."

"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for...

"We had a wonderful time with extended family here, enough room for everyone! Management and Socoro the caretaker were both very nice people and very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and quite a treat to have them provided fresh daily for us with 2 kinds of fresh made juices as well!"

A brilliant and very special stay.

"It was a perfect stay for us. Fernando and Fernanda went out of their way to ensure that. Also, they served absolutely delicious Oaxacan food beautifully cooked and presented from recipes handed down from Fernando's grandmother. We wanted for nothing. They are SO kind, helpful and really care about giving the best service as they put their heart and soul into everything they did. It was definitely our favourite place to stay in Mexico. We will not forget them or their hotel. Muchas gracias Fernando y Fernanda. Tony and Marie."
