"Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel."

"We arrived a little later than planned so had to phone the number displayed outside the property. Paul was welcoming and friendly, giving us instructions for entry. He also recommended a couple of dog-friendly pubs for our evening meal. We chose the Lamb & Flag - very popular with massive portions! Our room was comfortable and overlooking the street, but not too noisy. Radiators could be adjusted, so we had a cosy sleep. Breakfast was delicious. Full cooked, cereals, toast, yogurt, juices. ...

"A beautiful, quiet guesthouse, very nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Received a very warm welcome and a breakfast menu for the following morning, on arrival. Made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was 5* and was enjoyed in a quiet and comfortable dining room with mountain views, an excellent start to the day. "We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "

"I went there to find peace and tranquillity and found it in spades. Lovely clean and well appointed cottage, nothing you need has been forgotten and if it isn't there you don't need it. Beautiful valley side setting with veiws and Red Kites flying over. My only regret is i wasn't there long enough but now I've found it i will return."
