A patio beckons for a leisurely supper on the outdoor sofa with pizza from the oven or fish on the BBQ. Or, on a quiet evening, relax and watch for owls. You are welcome to use the parkland space too – a place to lose yourself, literally.

If you can bear to leave the gardens, inside 5 Bodafon, a stone Inglenook in the living room houses a wood-burner. Ceilings are beamed and light floods in through south-facing windows onto lovely artwork. This is a cosy spot for the evening to play games by the fire.

The kitchen has everything you need and has a dining table for chatting and informal light-flooded breakfasts.

A striking ground-floor bedroom is a place for deep slumber. Wrap yourself in fluffy towels after a shower in the ensuite shower room to start the day. The upstairs bedrooms are equally deeply comfortable and very quiet. Two bathrooms here mean no queues.
