The space
We're very excited to welcome guests to our spacious yet cosy home which we hope is the beginning of a memorable stay in Carmarthenshire for you. The property has been in our family for many years and we are looking forward to opening it up for guests to enjoy. Downstairs has been recently renovated to allow for a large open plan kitchen/ dining area with modern kitchen which opens out to the out door area.
The property sleeps up to 6 guests (one king bedroom, one double bedroom, one single bedroom with pull out base and mattress to turn this into a twin bedroom). The property is located in Ffairfach and is approximately 1 mile from Llandeilo town. This can be walked within 20 minutes or reached by car in less than 5 minutes.
Ground floor:
Entrance hallway leads to the open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as the sitting room, and stairs leading up from the front door.
The sitting room is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. There are two large double sofas with a coffee table in the centre of the room. Here you can enjoy watching the television and relaxing together. There is also a DVD player with some DVDs which you are more than welcome to watch. Please feel free to also bring your own .
The modern/ open plan kitchen and dining area is well equipped for home dining. Benefiting from a slow cooker, coffee machine and everything you need to be able to cook at the property. There is a large kitchen island for entertaining as well as a dining table with seating for 6 which overlooks the back garden. Guests can open up the double doors leading out to the garden to enjoy indoor/ outdoor living.
Off the kitchen there is an utility area with washing machine, and other appliances such as hoover, ironing board etc, this then leads on to the downstairs shower room/ WC.
First floor:
Upstairs you will find a family bathroom with bath, over head shower, toilet and washbasin.
The first bedroom is a double bedroom with storage, dressing table and arm chair. This overlooks the back garden and countryside beyond.
The master bedroom benefits from a king size bed, storage, dressing table and arm chair which sits in front of the large bay window overlooking the countryside with views up towards Llandeilo.
The third bedroom is a single bedroom with a pull out base and mattress to transform this to a twin bedroom (guests will need to advise us if they plan to use this as a twin bedroom so that we can set this up in readiness for them.)
Outside- You will also be able to access our shed which is at the side of the property, perfect for storing bikes. There is a pad lock on this and the key will be located inside. The outdoor bistro set will also be kept inside the shed during the winter months which guests are welcome to use at any point during their stay.
Our home is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Remote self check in gives flexibility for late arrivals, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay.
There will be some complimentary tea/ coffee waiting for you which we are sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. These are provided by a local social enterprise called Myddfai.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire property during your stay.
Other things to note
We are happy to welcome pets at the property however it is worth noting that the garden is not fully secure/ gated. This is something guests with pets/ young children need to bear in mind. We would recommend adult supervision when outside.
Parking-
Ample parking on the front drive which is off the main road, this can accommodate at least three cars.
Check in/ Check out-
Check in time is at 4pm and check out time is before 10am.
A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early or if guests do not check out out on time.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys.
Travel cot and high chair- A travel cot and high chair are available within the property, please do let us know if you will need these so that we can arrange for them to be set up for you. Note that you will need to bring your own mattress/ bedding for the travel cot.

The local community-based team of Pass the Keys® personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys®’s Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification.
The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
