"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. Superb location, easy to find, there is an excellent pub 5 minutes walk away with great food. The room was clean with funky colours. A super comfortable bed and great en suit. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was awesome. We had a superb weekend on the Gower and left fully refreshed. We would highly recommend. "

They could not do more to make you feel welcome and to assist in any way. Breakfasts and evening meals are excellent, and the lounge with wood fire is a joy. Parking is convenient. "What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome."

"The 'Pendine Sands B B' is adjacent to a spectacular looking medivial church. (By the way: we attended a Sunday Mass and we were taken aback by the warmth of the congregation, with which we - total strangers - were welcomed). The entire area is very serene and calming. The hosts are the kindest people we have met for as long as I can remember. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Everything in this property is spotless and to the highest of standards. So much attention to detail is not...

"Spacious room with access to mezzanine floor containing air beds and use of kitchen as agreed with the owners. We were there to attend our daughter's 40th birthday party and were able to use the kitchen to complete decorating the cake which we took to the party. Nice breakfast and convivial hosts."
